I've installed both. The CPE mount is a beast compared to the sure unit.

Edit: I should say both work fine

@superskaterxes; I know SURE's reputation as of late, but have any diff mounts failed? I know different alloys have different strengths and density. Beefiness isn't always better, e.g. You could have a heavy duty beefy girl that you would never destroy, or a normal sexy girl that again you could never destroy.... Or an easier comparison.... Have you ever felt a carbon fiber hood? Relatively flimsy compared to a metal hood, however strength would not even be a comparison. I'm not saying this is the case, however I would like a better explanation based off of your experiences.

To be fair, I don't think this is the place for this discussion.

i agree this isent the place for discussion, but theres a reason why theres a V2 from them. Someone BENT the v1 and they released an updated version aka V2.

Wow. That was a while back. Guess I'll send a request. I don't want to buy the oem platic junk. It's wierd they have one for the protege but not the ms6. I mean I still have my 01 MP3 but I'm surprised they had enough intrest to produce it. This New Enland weather is hell on the engine bay. Salt everywhere

We have one on our MS6 right now. The placement of the oil drain is easy but the filter drain is a bit tough. It is right where a structural bend needs to be. I might end up making a cover that is structural. Like a folded sump that doubles as an access panel.

Sounds like alot more thought is going into this as compared to the turbine tech one which is great because its just a water jetted sheet of alum that got stuffed into a bender to make it halfway fit. I honestly gave up on this ever happening, def put me down for one.

Version1. Before the cutouts. The front adds structure and access to the filter. The final product will be slightly different.

I don't have a pic, but it's right in front of the drivers side front tire, just inside the inner fender. Next time I drain it I'll try to remember to get a pic.

It is still being tested. It will work with everything we sell and most other company's swaybars. I would say all others but I haven't tested everything.

I put a 90 in the t-bar mount supplied with the kit and shortened the end closer to the headlight. I drilled two new holes in the frame rail and mounted the t-bar with two self-taping screws. I had to move the small radiator part to the top of the rail and bend the A/C line bracket a little to make room for the can but it fits just fine. I've taken it out twice to drain it in the frigid winter temps.

Thanks for the heads up, I would like to try and mount mine similar to the way yours is. Thanks again

Derrick sold me a set over emails in October. Haven't installed them yet because I'm waiting to see what brakes I'm going with before I track the car again.

So what are these camber arms I have? Are they actually for the 6?

Likely they are Mazda3. The big difference is the width at the ends. You can make the mazda3 work on the 6 but we made larger machined ends to take the gap up with. Function is identical though. I know a few people have run the camber arms on Mazda6 successfully. If the camber arm fit great then there is no issue. If not, send me a PM and I will get it squared away.

Looking back at the messages, Derrick did tell me they were the same arms. My mistake.
