I already had the SRI on the car when I added the fmic, why spend extra money for the ram air kit...It also makes it easier for all of the work that is done on my car. I also obviously live in the northwest where it's not typically that hot so intake temps aren't near as much of a concern for me.

@redboat I occasionally go back and forth on the idea of selling it. I'm usually not actively trying to sell it, but it's one of those things where everything has it's price, I'd sell it if the price was right. Who knows, maybe I'll throw it up on CL again in the future, but I have no current plans of doing so.

ok makes sense, thought it was more of a performance decision. And isn't your car the corksport test car? Why would you sell it? How would you test other ms6 parts? Unless you guys got another guinea pig?

My car is my car. As long as I have it then it's easier for part development because I'm here with it every day anyhow, but it's not necessary for new part development. We were making MS6 parts before I bought it and I'm sure we'd continue if I were to sell it. We have plenty of local customers that would love to be involved in the development process and let us use their cars, it's just more convenient when the car is here every day anyhow. We don't have to own a car in order to develop new parts for it.

Understandable, but I would think it would be easier to have your own test car and not have to rely on others cars for more consistant results. But you still have the car so that's neither here nor there right now, lol.. are the 4piston calipers on your car right now?

Dustin, what is your personal opinion of these spring over anything else you have had on the car?

I prefer them over the H&R's, and those are the only other springs I've had on it. The H&R's were a bit more harsh. I mostly use my car as a daily driver to pick up the kids from daycare and whatnot so it's important that it's reasonably comfortable to ride in. Now it's stiffer than stock but not as harsh as the H&R's were.

The H&R's are absolutely garbage and WAY too soft for this car. The harshness must come from the shock you're using, because they're super smooth with bilsteins.

They say they are and had different model #'s but they are the same now. I even called H&R and asked. I have them on and it was a large drop from stock height.

I was wondering if the "harshness" was from being a bit too low and hitting the bump stops. I'd have to put them back on to check and it's not worth it for me to find out.

Can I get a conversion of the MS3 BBK to work on the MS6. I'll buy a CS kit before having to fab up some used Evo Brembo capiers and rotors.

I'll even be the beta tester for it, I have wheels already that would clear the kit!!

Thanks for the info. Sounds like are cars are used quite similarly. I hate the stock springs "hobby horse" effect. Even with Bilsteins my car nose dives braking moderately and lifts when i drive it hard between gears. Sounds like these springs might be the good compromise.

What are your thoughts on ground clearance over the H&R's?

As far as H&R's go, I don't think they ever made a specific spring. They just gave them a different part number and said they are specific.

I'm not the guy to ask about ground clearance, they're all 4x4's to me. My daily driver when I started at CS was a bagged '76 Chevy C10 that was regularly throwing sparks from being drug down the street. It's not possible to get the MS6 low enough to make me happy....
