I'm not sure those holes are for injectors. I don't think we have enough space between the front of the mani and the rad fan for injectors to be put horizontal like that as well as having a rail above (further towards front) them.

My guess is that they are for meth nozzles since they can be had as 90* nozzles and do not take up much space.

Fair enough. But my reasoning for the purchase was the hard data that showed how poor the stocker was. and beauty is in the eye of the beholder. thing has some sweet ass welding and excellent finish. professionally crafted for sure. dont knock it

i am very pro CS manifold.

For you guys questioning the clearance between the manifold and the radiator. There is approximately 3.5" from meth port (yes those are intended for meth) location to the fan shroud for the radiator. The CS manifold is a very compact package even compared to the OEM mani.
Note: I also have the CS radiator installed in my car which pushed the fan shroud back ~0.5" due to the thicker core. Yup Gen2 works in Gen1 with a couple tweeks

Numbers will come soon enough guys...enjoy the picture!

I know this is nit-picky, but on that top right bolt, any chance you could make it such that a ratcheting wrench could fit on there easily?

That has certainly been a pain point for us. V3 will still require the use of a stud for that location, but clearance has been improved significantly.

How is the angle of attack from manifold runner to runner in the head? A nice smooth appropriate 180* or hard, sharp 100* like, "the other guys"?

I made a mistake looking at the runners myself, thinking the tumble to the cyl head was incorrect. If you've ever pulled the IM, it's an obvious slope down into the combustion chamber, and this design makes a helluva lot more sense than firing straight in.

How much of an effect does flow angle have on a forced induction system? I know it is crucial on NA but I thought FI had slightly different rules to follow? School me please

How's the low end throttle response with VTCS gone? I always thought that the stock mani without VTCS sounded like a hooker choking on a pile of dicks.

My man is right. The idea is great. The affordability and competition is great.

HOWEVER!

Results are needed. The testing needs to be flow benched so recorded data is available to the public to see. It also needs tested on a variety of set ups. Stock head with this manifold VS stock head with a stock pnp manifold - built head with this manifold VS built head with a stock pnp manifold. We already know the results of the jmf.

I do entertain the idea of the meth though. I think more tuners should give their two cents on the location of where the nozzles would be fitted.

Other options you should include are shaved manifolds for people running FMIC and taps for PI.


Yet, I am just another person on this thread saying the same shit as other people. Get on it. And send brock a manifold - I mean, he did hook it up with the seals.

Very interested, it's on the pricey side, so it would be nice to see some testers running it on a bunch of different setups. As with all stuff CS I'm sure it ends up being worth every penny, and it sure does look sexy.

Not that have been done properly, but MAP flow benched the stock and their porter manifolds, à la carte.
