For sale section. Post a WTB thread and troll around for awhile and you can get a sick deal, I've seen some go for cheaper. I posted a WTB thread for one, my paypal was sent later that day. And op do some searching, I'm nice so i won't flame people but there is a worlds difference when you get an AP. IMO the mod route to take is:
1)intake
2)AP
3)rmm
4)downpipe
5)HPFP internals

Some may disagree but thats my opinion.

Fixed, but even stage 1 AP does make a big difference. Makes the car feel much smoother, along with more power.

Stage 1 is much better than stock, plus you can monitor your car. HPFP before DP IMO. Some cars drop fuel pressure with a DP, some don't, so you may as well not take the risk.

It really depends how far you want to go with your car. If you plan on a full exhaust system (or rather, even just a downpipe), you will need HPFP internals. I know they aren't fun, but they are a very necessary part of the modding experience.

After that, I really enjoyed my AccessPORT. It is a little bit more ($450 would be a great deal used, otherwise probably $500 new), but its capabilities are amazing. Furthermore, you can use the maps it comes with to yield pretty reasonable power gains from the modifications you're already installed.

Finally, exhaust is always a fun modification! A downpipe should open up the sound, especially with a catback system. Additionally, you will feel performance gains which is always a bonus. Do remember, though, as other have previously recommended, you should install HPFP internals before anything else.

Good luck! Fun time.

I would agree with AP or RMM.
AP for long term.
RMM for immediate change in feel.

Or pretty much go read the intro to your car sticky...and do some research.

Unless you've already got some All-Season or Winter tires on that beast (or available), I think Justin might be onto something. If you do, then you should definitely invest in an AP, as it will give you better performance, better gas mileage (if you're not WOT all the time), and allow you to monitor your engine and make sure that everything is running the way it's supposed to be.

take it step by step and don't rush it and it'll pay off in the end. I say:

RMM
Accessport
DP

and then go from there..in the end its all on what you want.

Rmm, save for AP. Maybe springs if you don't have them already. Lowering is always a must imo

How many miles on the '07 MS3? I ask because even "good" high pressure pumps will fade over time.

Example: See mods below. I ran a catless dp/rp on stock tune for probably 40,000 miles. I'm at 61,000 miles now. I was monitoring fuel pressure and all was fine. Turbo was spiking to 21 psi coming up on boost and then holding at about 18 psi through power band with taper to 16 at 6,000. But I was untuned. After adding a tune I began to notice fuel pressure gradually drifting downward. I could say that the raised load limits, increased timing and adjustment to boost pushed the pump over the edge, but it is just a likely that the CDFP simply increased internal tolerances due to gradual wear and was losing its ability to maintain commanded pressure under high load.

So, I'd say that if you are even thinking AP or any other tuning option, or any degree of additional mods, especially a downpipe, you ought to go ahead and do the fuel pump internals now and be done with it. Sooner or later you'll need to. Money well spent, even though you'll not see any performance gain until you add that tune or the downpipe.
