Default anyone did the foglight mod on MS6? HID flickers?

Hi,

I wanted to do the foglight mod on my MS6. I found the foglight relay, I found the wire which gets ground when headlights come on. I connected the wire to ground permanently, so now I can switch on foglights whenever I want, but once I do that, HID's (low beam) start to flicker.

What am I doing wrong?

You need to find a anti-flicker relay. should be able to find one on amazon or ebay

Disconnect whatever you did asap.

If you have drls you need to cut two wires at the auto light off control module, and then connect them togeather.
If you dont have drls you cut one wire at the fog relay and connect the relay side to 12v constant.

when I say DRLs I mean custom leds I have installed, they are not connected to anything except battery, and turn on once generator starts charging (eg voltage gets >13v).

Not sure how this should impact HIDs though..

By DRLs, I believe he is just referring to the manner in which your lights turn on. Meaning, as soon as you turn on the car, they turn on automatically. Here in the states, they dont and we physically have to turn them on.
