(Thread Starter) |   Not Ranked : 0 score  Blue smoke under acceleration Anyways, like the title says I've been noticing blue smoke under acceleration. I know that usually means your burning oil. So could be a problem with the head gasket, valve seat, piston rings... Is this something I should get looked at by the dealer while its still under warranty? Im a little hesitant to do anything to the car myself while its under warranty. Car is stock for now, so any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks |

| Not Ranked : 0 score lets see, no mods and you have a warranty......um if i were you i would just take it to any mechanic cause that sounds like the smartest thing to do. This way you can pay out of pocket for any repairs. Are you sure your smart enough to even be driving a car?

(Thread Starter) | Not Ranked : 0 score Havent needed to changed the oil yet so I'm not sure whats in it. I usually go with Royal Purple. PCV fix?

| Not Ranked : 0 score Read this. Supposedly lowers the vacuum pressure to the point that the oil can't get past the seals, or something to that effect. It's possible that your car is still running 5w-20 oil, which would be a cause for your smoking. How many miles have you put on the car since you bought it?

| Not Ranked : 0 score Change your oil with a full synthetic 5w-30 or even 5w-40 oil and see if that clears up your problems.
