Default $$$ to burn. Suggestions

Whats up fellas. Been some time since I've been on the forums. School and work have been kicking my ass.

To the point, I sold my toy miata and have some cash to burn in the speed 3. Thought I would get some suggestions on what would be some good next mods. Mods list is already decent (bellow). I need to replace my clutch and was thinking about doing a lighter flywheel. Custom tune is going to happen when I go back to VA. Considering doing sway bars as well. Thoughts? Not looking to go BT.

Good to be back on the forums. Looking forward to getting myself updated on shit.

Sway bars would be nice. I just installed a RSB the other day makes a huge difference. I would also grab JBR TIGs/Coolant Bypass

Ditch the Megan CO's and get some of quality.

RSB also.

And ditch the slotted/drilled rotors.

If you want to stay on a budget, I highly suggest Bilstein Sports with a quality Spring. If you're looking for CO's the sky is the limit obviously but you get what you pay for. Make sure they are SS and if you're looking for super low's don't expect comfort.

Don't mess with the flywheel and clutch, they are awesome from factory.
Add a meth kit on your shopping list. Since you don't want to go BT at least you can get more power from what you already have.

Good luck!

Well if you are getting a new clutch, you can get a 6 puck clutch from ACT that comes with 2 types of lighter flywheels.

Sent via oil leak.

I agree with @mituc; the stock setup is legit and plenty of people have made far more power than will ever be had on the K04.

That is, if yours is in need of replacing, Stock+Fidenza Flywheel is a great option.

But I wouldn't be concerned with it unless it's needed.

Handling: New Struts/Springs or CO's and RSB(do endlinks too if they've got 40k+)

Power: You can buy a used meth kit for around $300 and or get a tune for e85. That will give the K04 a lot more to work with.

Hadn't even thought of meth. Good point though. Any specific kits you would recommend?

I was really surprised by the ride quality on the KSports. They are much better than the typical $1k coilover setup. Sway bar is a good idea. Agreed on the OCC. TIGs & SafeSeals too maybe?
