Cobb tuning accessport question

anyone know if the accessport for the Speed6 will also work on the Speed3? I am selling mine but wasnt sure if it did or not, I know the motor is the same but I still dunno for sure.

yes its the same part ap-maz002. even on there site. your good.

Are you sure? Iam pretty sure there is different software between the speed3 and 6 versions. Same hardware though.

I know when cobb had my AP they accidentaly flashed it for a speed 6 and it didn't work on my speed3 , so I had to send it back and they flashed it for the speed3

well a friend of mine thought it would work, and I would think it would but I guess maybe it would need a different flash from cobb? Probably fairly easy to get I would think. I would be happy to help someone if they wanna buy it lol

If you can use either the speed6 one or the speed3 one, I wonder why cobb made me send my AP back?(not being sarcastic, I am really wondering) - I would suggest that the OP call Cobb to get a definative answer.

+1 on calling cobb for a definitive answer. If it does, then that sucks cause I found a really good on a MS6 AP but passed on it cause I didnt think it would work.

well I will try and contact Cobb I suppose, but if anyone wants to buy it plz let me know cuz I could really use the money right now, lost my job so everything must go! I would love to post this in the for sale section but I need 100 posts to do that ouch. I have been a member of a local forum since 2002 and only have 237 posts lol

well I didnt really have the car modded, and the only other thing was the Magnaflow exhaust but im gonna leave it on there since it repaired an issue I had with the factory exhaust anyways. The tuner was easy to remove anyways so I figured I could sell that.

Gotta be someone that wants one, I would have been more than happy to have bought mine "used" to save money since its not a wear item like a turbo or similar.

Did they charge you to do anything to it??
