HID installation

Yesterday I was watching hours of videos and reading threads on how to install HIDs to find out the best way for me to install them. There are plenty of information on how to do it. Some things that I saw on videos that I couldn't find on a thread was connecting the power. Also I really didn't know how to mount the ballast. This is my first time doing something like this. I have no prior experience with car mechanics.

To do this I removed the front bumper because there were some things I dropped and wanted to get lol. Removing the bumper was very easy. I removed the headlights to install the HIDs.

Connecting the power I took the black plastic connector from the halogen bulb, connected it to the HID, then wrapped it with electrical tape. After that I connected it to the power making sure the wires match. Everything snapped in and worked perfectly.

To mount the ballast I connected the bracket that came with the kit and zip tied it to the chassis on the drivers side and on a hose on the passenger side. Now everything is tucked away. Check out the pics and let me know what you think.

I enjoyed watching the videos. There were always related videos like "ms3 vs sti" and "ms3 vs evo x" that I watched that probably took up most of the time.
