2006 mazdaspeed6 Just rolled 147,000 yesterday during a road trip, 866miles round trip.

I am the second owner, bought it 4years ago with 94k miles

Original Engine
Original Transmission
Second K04 with ~100k miles- Replaced under the Original Smoky turbo TSB @ around 30-40k miles. The seals are starting to but I am not smoking
Original Clutch - replaced last year at 130k due to Clutch pedal failure and me limping the car home otherwise it would still been good.

Original Transfer case and Rear Diff.

Suspension refresh early this year with Bilsteins and H&R Springs.

Currently pending

VVT-Timing Chain - It rattles once in a while during startup so I need to replace it soon.
Clean valves
Replace PCV

number 1 actually. blew the rod. it doesn't move. The compression was 150-160 in the other cylinders so the motor was healthy.
EVERYTHING IS ORIGINAL BUT THE T-CASE AND ALTERNATOR
Stock clutch.. stock turbo. Never replaced.
I say it had a good life. Step dad was the one and only owner and i got it at 187k miles in december. For a highschool senior i think driving 5 thousand miles in a semester in one car is alright haha.

Edit- Not motified until i cut off one muffler at 190k and took the restrictor thingy out of the airbox. thats it lol...

I just picked up my first MS3 2 weeks ago with 143k. I say my first cause I plan on eventually getting another one. My son already called dibs on this one when he gets his license, he's only 13 but I like his thinking.

Owned it for alil over 3 years bought it with 108k, At 68mph at 138k rod let go cruising(was stock then besides a strat tune n intake), new motor currently running at 148k on a 07 speed6. Runs n shifts like a mofoin' champ. And now its got alil more powaa

Been off a long time but still have the speed. Used for work daily and now has 212,500 miles. Lots of work done to keep running including new long block at 155,000 with clutch. My son used it over a weekend and I get in it the next Monday and well the rest is history. Now I am doing complete fluid changes new plugs and battery and giving it to my son. He is heading down to Tampa back to school and I told him if it breaks don't call me. I also told him to look for some local clubs and read,read, read. This site help me so much with this little rocket.
Moved on to a 2016 Challenger Scat Pack tank. I realized the first off ramp this is no speed3 on the twisties.

Any older speed models with high mileage care to post your car production number? The last few digits of the vin if I don't make sense. Be interesting to see if there was a certain longevity of sorts somewhere in production run.

Just passed 200k. Still on oem clutch, flywheel, engine, and turbo.
Need to do an oil change and want to do a compression test some time soon. I did a comp test on 05-18-2014 at 156k and my numbers were 180 175 170 182

Just passed 229k on oem clutch and engine and turbo also compression checked 5 months ago I had 184 per cylinder changed all fluids transmission, pto, differential

So I'm seeing mixed results with longevity with modded MS's. Should we start adding in driving habits as well. I would ask for maintenance, but I think most of everyone on here is diligent on that. Btw rolling over 86k and still counting. Bought it stock two years ago at 45k on the odo. Here's the latest UOA

I bought my speed6 with 220k and had it for a year slightly modded bolt ons everything is original. For people that don't think these cars can last long we are living proof of high miles

Just went by 197k today. Modifications were progressive throughout my first few years with it up to about 35,000 miles but after that I've been fully bolted ever since. Original clutch and turbo and I've only changed the brakes (pads/rotors/fluid flush) once around 110k. Been using Rotella T-syn since first oil change.

My 05 Mazda 6 has 197k miles, my 07 Speed6 has 74k miles, and my 16 VW Tiguan 4motion has 36k miles.
