07 ms3GT had 24k on it

when i traded itfor my 08 cwp now has 72k miles...thermostat stuck needed a new motor..about 1.8k miles on new forged motor.

Well the transmission is original, but this is engine #4 with about 30k miles on it. Original engine VTA at around 115k miles, and the next one at about 172k miles. Engine 3 was forged and possibly defective; hole in the sleeve after only 4k miles, so that block was torn down and rebuilt with straight sleeves. Still not big turbo, but hopefully soon it will be. Then I can blow this one up too.

I replaced the clutch at 115k when the original motor blew, but it still had life in it. I also replaced it at 176k miles with another OEM clutch, and also the flywheel; the old one had a few hot spots on it. Still these stock clutches work very well.

If you like the car and have no big desire for a new one, you should definitely reconsider!

Bought new 2008.5 MS3 now with 152,000 on the beast. Had the timing chain and vvt done replaced the struts and other normal stuff but that is it. 5/40 rotella with spin on hell yea. At this point I will run it until it blows then either give it to my son or put in a new motor. I was so paronoid at first about blowing that I almost sold it. I do take it easy now on her because I like no payments.I drive it for my job daily and stuff the bucks in my college fund for my twins who go away next year.

Default Turns 100K this week

I purchased my 08 MS3 June 2008 and it now has 99,975. It was trouble free until a couple weeks ago when it was diagnosed to need struts, front brakes, ECV, bushings, and a couple other suspension parts, all at a cost of about $2700. All work was completed and it no longer clunks over bumps. Clutch, engine, and tranny are still like new. My only mod is a MS3 CAI and a silver MS3 stripe.

I racked up 137,000 miles on my previous 2010,3 In just 3 years. Ive had my 2013 speed for just about a month and have just under 4,000 had like 100 on clock when I bought it my commute to work is around 140 round trip depending on where I go to lunch.

07 speed 3, original owner with 95k on it. Only have needed to do the thermostat, cabin air filter, brakes/rotors...and do oil changes like clock work.

But I am about to do the serpentine belt, it has a small tear in it. I am also thinking of flushing all the fluids and replacing the radiator hoses. Still have to do more homework. I love the if it isn't broken then don't fix it. But I don't want to be broken down on the free way either.

09 CWP Speed3 with 72K. Battery, Fluids, Tires, and injector seals. NO other items replaced. Besides mods. Front pads/rotors are just at the squeakers and are ready to be replaced. Great cars!

124 mile round trip commute here. Did over 4000 miles in a month. At least I'm not driving my shitty old Honda anymore.

09 speed3, just rolled over 56k. Recently replaced the belt tensioner assembly due to rattling, passenger side axle clunks twice when backing up and clicks a little going forward at slow speeds, getting that replaced in a couple months once I get my taxes in. 3 of 4 wheels bent due to shitty roads, also replacing after taxes. Front passenger side strut clucks over large speedbumps consistently.

She still has plenty of power though and no timing chain slapping the VC or VVT noise (yet) so no real complaints
