The dp install isn't that bad, just time consuming. Make sure to have decent tools. 14mm crow foot wrench is great to get a couple of the turbo flange nuts tight. To get the stocker out just undo the rear and pass MM and have someone pull the motor forward and it'll squeeze out.

Dropping the sub frame a couple inches makes it a helluva lot easier too. Just be sure to mark and unbolt the steering pin prior.

I cannot see signatures on Taptalk. Nor can I see if brown or not. He should really donate, no one likes brownies, not even me. If I would have know he was a freeloader, I would have told him to stick the DP up his ass.

Good luck on the install OP. Can you please post up any gains? I currently have the same setup as you (exhaust wise). I would like to see how much it increases flow.

I don't know why everyone complains about the MS6 downpipe removal and install. I was in and out in 5 hours and fairly easy. The hardest part was modifying the alternator shroud to make the DP fit.

Mines a MS6 also. Wasn't that bad! You gain TONS of room if you take off the windshield wipers, WW motor, and the plastic shroud hiding the WW motor.

i pulled mine out through the top, no dicking around with the sub frame or rmm. you have to unbolt the heatshields from your dp and it should have enough room to come out, maybe the tmic bracket as well. its been awhile but pick your poison. rmm and rocking the engine is probally the easier option unless your by yourself.

also check your tire pressure

Shitty map maybe. Go back to a milder stage 1 map. If the issue goes away you're in desperate need of a tune.

Logs would help us, help you. If you can post them in a format us peeps can see it on our phones like excelor screenshot.

Also, why are your still Brown? Go VIP already.

Run Cobb ots stage 1 for just the upgraded intake, I think it's version 231 and it will boost around 15psi.

I've taken off everything you could take off on the 6, worst thing by far is fmic. Fuck doing a fmic. I'd rather take the damn engine out again.

The level of work to do the FMIC on a MS6 is much more involved than a 3. I did a lot of research and said, Fuck it, I'm going CorkSport TMIC. Once all the other mods are done I might reconsider it but I'll probably go BT before I go FMIC.

Nice. You are over boosting like a mother fucker. Are you still brown? Damnit! You are using the wrong tune. Try the correct map for your mods!

littleloogy I thought I was using the correct tune for my car I was running stage 2 sri/tih 91 octane ots map and the only other one I seen was for ic. Am I missing something.

Also I switched back to stage 1 and took some more logs I will try to find different format for phone faces

I'm pretty sure it's the map switch to stage 1 and if everything is ok it's the stage 2 map. If you want to run stage 2 tune but not have issues get an etune.
