Default Lean at idle.

Recently I’ve been running a fuel system lean at idle code. My long term fuel trim is at 20.12 at idle and I’ve searched the whole engine bay for vacuum leaks. The weird thing is my car does not idle rough at all and ltft is af 0 at wot. I also have noticed that I’m getting a locking noise around 2500 rpms when hitting around 10 psi or more, could this be caused by a bad turbo or boost controller?

What is a "locking" noise?

Also, please describe all mods on your car. That would be a huge help.

I currently am running auto tech fuel pump internals, cpe short ram intake, cpe top mount intercooler and a hks bov. The noise sounds like a really loud engine knock for only a second before it dissipates. Could this be a tuning issue or something else. I have a bnr s4, map sensor, corlsport boost controller, injector seals, and a egr delete waiting to go on. I’m almost tempted to put everything on and see if my fuel trims even out.

Fyi the engine is brand new with 3000 miles on it.

The solenoid I am referring to is connected to a black vacuum chamber that sits on top of the intake. I would love to take a picture but it’s not cooperating so here’s a link to what I’m referring too https://goo.gl/images/HgEuZg

I'm having the same problem. I just put in a bigger turbo. I have the Cobb accessport but I can't find where to download an appropriate map. The cobb website says there are no pro tuners in my city. I live in Chicago . So I try to find out how to make my own map and they want you to pay another $150 to take their course before they let you make maps. What was the other $700 I paid for?

So I'm trying to search relevant terms on here and this is the closest thread I have found so far. I'm about to start squirting fuel directly into the intake a la Mad Max.

As you should well know, having been a member of this site since 2014, you cannot safely run a larger-than-stock turbocharger on this motor without a custom tune. There are no off-the-shelf maps from Cobb or anywhere else that will satisfy the needs of your engine. You have to pay for, or create your own custom tune.

I would strongly recommend contacting one of the excellent E-tuners for a custom tune for your car.

Freektune
Stratified
Hypnotic Tuning
PD Tuning
etc...etc...etc...

E-tuning does not require anyone to be near you. Consult one of the well-respected e-tuners Vansquish gave you. Give the tuner your mod list including turbo brand and model. He will give you a base map for logging, then use your logging data to develop your custom tune.
