MS3 07-09 CBE Thread

Seems both the GenPu and MS6 guys have a dedicated thread for any and all CBE systems for their applications, so I figured I would take a stab at making one good enough for us GenJuan's.

The overall purpose of this thread is to be made as a reference point for the n00bs out there because all too often no one wants to use the amazing "search" feature... imagine that.

This thread is meant to be the go to thread for MS3 07-09 exhaust systems. I won't post any sound clips in the OP but you are more than welcome to post what you have along with a list of supporting mods for reference. feel free to "SEARCH" YouTube as there is an abundant amount of vids already posted there and have been for years.

Feel free to discuss your impressions of the exhaust you have installed. Too loud? Perfect growl? Does it drone?

There is already a Downpipe thread, so this thread is only for catback/axleback systems. I'm This thread is listing full CBE systems. The prices listed are approximate retail. You may find them cheaper thru any of our vendors, or used. And of course you can always find great deals in our F/S Section.

+1 on the CNT. I installed it this last sunday and LOVE the sound. VERY slight drone at highway speed, but nothing turning on the radio doesn't cover. Cruising in residential in 3rd = no angry neighbors.

Fitment is good, and all the welds looked quality as well. matched up directly to the existing hangers.

Just a note for everyone: IMHO the stock CBE is a pretty good flowing exhaust for being factory. the cats are in the DP and then 3 resonators in the catback.

just purchased a M2 eBay cattless DP and CNT CBE! should have it on shortly after i get it and i will upload of sound clips in and out of the car

I like the CNT because it reduces the annoying 3k rpms decel drone from the stock exhaust. I think drone is slightly lower over all as well.

CNT is less than 92dba @ 50ft while full throttle. Sounds good and not too loud.

i got the cobb about 6 months 4 months back...I love it..its great on the track you can here the motor well and on the street its very tame unless you really get on it, and even on it its not obnoxious...
