(Thread Starter) | Not Ranked : 0 score ![]() So the car is an 07 Speed 3 with 138k miles, claims to have no leaks, runs great, no burning of fluids, great boost. Car looks to be well taken care of, interior is clean and exterior was well maintained. Upgrades are a catless downpipe, exhaust, cobb intake, lower springs. As far as im concerned shouldn't the car be tuned as for having the downpipe or is that not an issue? $4800 is his asking price but I think its a bit too high, I could be wrong. Any advice on things I should look out for or make sure is in check before buying this would be greatly appreciated. What are things that could go wrong with that many miles and overall is the value going to depreciate quickly or should it be quite stabil? Like I said I don't know much about Mazdaspeeds but I am hoping to learn a lot and get help from some of you. I will try to add pics soon. Thanks! |

| Not Ranked : 0 score Must be tuned. Does owner have an Access Port they could throw in? If they had it tuned and then unmarried the AP, you'll be on stock tune. Other things to check: High Pressure Fuel Pump internals upgraded? VVT kit/ timing chain slack or rattle on startup. Compression test, if possible. Excessive pedal vibration when barely pushing in the clutch.
