You need the Gear PAIR and you need to know if the parts are interchangable between the two different gearboxes. They may have changed the spline pattern on the shafts, shaft centerlines or gear widths and still used the same cases. I would not assume that any parts from the current 6 speed MS3 gearbox will interchange with parts from the 2010 MS3 box.

It is likely that they just changed the grind while keeping the same spline pattern. Retooling for this type of manufacture is expensive. In the end, its not really worth it, but to each his/her own.
