Hiley Mazda of Hurst
625 NE Loop 820
Hurst, Texas 76053
817-701-1000

Took my car in with a blown axle with intake, dumped exhaust, Greddy BOV, B+G Springs and they fixed it under warranty. A few weeks later, I though that the other axle had gone out. Turns out that I had not tightened the tie rod enough. (oops) Fixed it free too. I have never been turned away for mods and they have never said anything about it. I have nothing but good things to say about them!

I'd like to submit one:

Tom Roush Mazda
U.S. 31 north and 169th street
525 David Brown Drive, Westfield, IN 46074
(800) 891-7084

They are frankly the best dealership I've been to thus far. I've taken both my RX-8 and MS6 there, and while I absolutely hate paying for someone else to do work on my car, they are who I go to when I have to.

This is how good they are: There are 3 Mazda dealerships on the 1 hr drive to them. I pass all of them by and go straight to Tom Roush.

Ask for Mike Elkins as your assistant. He's a good guy who will fight tooth and nail for you.

+1 for #6 on the list

Town North Mazda
307 S Central Expressway
Richardson, TX 75080

I recently joined the broken shifter club while traveling through Dallas and Town North replaced the broken shifter without questioning my "spirited driving." Parts and services are closed on the weekends, so I have to leave it in their care until I could come back to pick it up the following weekend. They kept the car locked up during the week and only moved it out front before closing shop that Friday.

Also, these lists were real handy when Mazda Roadside Assistance asked which dealer I wanted the car towed to!
Thanks guys!

Fremont Mazda

Sales - top notch team; I went in there and said "24K OTD" they sold it to me for 23.9K OTD; no haggling, no hassling, no pressure - nothing. Easy as pie.

Went there a couple of times for programming of my "personalized" features and then for a TSB for drivers seat and both times their service manager, Brian, was absolutely awesome. On my second trip there, when they were executing the TSB on the seat, he was not sure of how long it would take so they just gave me a rental and told me to bring it back whenever (luckily they were done same day so it was pretty quick).

Excellent service overall!!!

*Ask for Matt Sammut, he's the manager for the service/parts department. Mod friendly, he'll even advise you on mods.

Too many visits to look back on, but they're all good people, especially Matt. I took my 04 2.3 auto there before I got my Mazdaspeed 3. Talked to him about Mazdaspeed 3 vs RX-8 and he told me not to waste money on the RX-8. Except for handling department, the Mazdaspeed owns the RX-8 everywhere else. He's not biased towards Mazda, he acknowledges cars like STI and EVO are just beasts waiting to be tuned.

Then I got my MS3, talked to him about modding and warranty. He said as long as the visit isn't caused by the mods, he'll get warranty to cover the repairs. He even suggested what kind of stuff I ought to do to my MS3. He thinks the car makes enough power for a FWD, and he suggested I should invest my money in the handling department. Maybe some simple bolt on here and there. Really mod friendly.

Recently, I found a rust spot on the roof of my MS3, he suggested I should come in when the district manager comes in, so he too can look at the paint defect. If the district manager OK it, then my car is good to go for repair. All in all, great guy and very easy to work with when it comes to cars. His associates are top-notch too!

He also helped me order new roof rails with the detachable clips for my ski racks, and he price matched an online mazda parts site.

Really easy to work with, and super helpful when it comes to inquiries.

I second this one. They are nice to work with. I haven't gone in there with mods yet, but I don't see them having a problem with me in that regard.

They have been very cool to me. All I have is a MS CAI but their service department is very nice. I went in there with one of those 6 month coupons that had a bunch of stuff on it (to do.) After I was in the waiting area they came back at said that if I really wanted it they could do all of those things but that I didn't need it. Saved me some money. They lost one of the screws on my inter-cooler cover but replaced it. Don't know if they care about more mods.

They approved my differential and loaner, hassle-free today when another dealer wouldn't do it due to the car being LOWERED. They are mod friendly as long as the mod is not causing a directly related problem. See my rant-type post about the differential issue I had. These guys are money for us DC area ppl. car max
5500 Alameda Boulevard Northeast
Albuquerque, NM 87113
(505) 858-2438

i know this is broad, but i do have to say that car max has been the best dealer ive ever delt with. The ms3 for one is not a easy car to buy as they only made 5k a year. I really wanted a 08 as it was newer and with the suade/leather seats etc.

It took about a month for my color to show up as the majority were red or silver but my black one came in at the right price and the right options and color.

I had it transfered for 500 bucks which i was already willing to pay as ms3's arent common in new mex. (not like a wrx, or ss etc)

The service was awesome, transport came in way quicker then expected, I kinda scared the salesman as i wasnt afraid to romp on the excel, lol

i ended up getting their warantee which was 36k 3 year which at first i was like whatever. Not paying for that crap. But learned they pretty much cover everything. Tows, rental cars, . The cool thing is if i took it to car max for a warantee job its 50 bucks unlimited use. If i take it to a different mechaninc its 75 bucks unlimited use. which sold me due to the fact that a lot of warantees out there only allow you to use it once or up to so much money.

Kudos to carmax.

P.s. its easy as hell to rid your self of the carmax sticker. Head gun and plastic razor blade. Took 10 min including cleaning off the lingering goo.

Fantastic service Department. A friend of mine brought in his MS6 that decided to spit a rod out the block! To make a long story short $17k later in warranty work a $250 service credit and two car payments made while it sat in the shop it was done.

On a personal note i have only had a few minor issues with my car. The service adviser has actually gone outside and help well lets say put a bandaid on a few minor issues i have had to get me by until the parts came in. Overall i would give them an A++

i can vouch for hamilton mazda, #18. the guys there are great, and usually the front desk girl is pretty cute. they have done great work on everyone that i send there, and this one time they douched up the plastic thing on our oil filter and my buddy bitched and they replaced it and gave him a free oil change for free.

Albi Mazda
Mascouche, québec, Canada
Officially the biggest Mazda seller in the world, followed by a Mazdadealer in Moscow.
I dont know they exact number but their is at the least 40 station for mechanic and a big bodyshop and paint station.
I just got my car back after a 3 day repairs and i was really please with the service.
They change the turbo, rear and front sway bar bushing, trailarm bushing, bracket under the battery box and the timing chain cover seal.
They didnt ask any questions and didnt argue at all for the repairs.
My mechanic knew that my SRI attach bracket broke the one under the battery, he didnt report it, he also told me that he saw that i put my stock RMM before my visit and just look at me with a smile.
If i get another Mazda i will get it from there even if it's like an hour drive from my place....

Default Montgomery Mazda +11ty billion

Montgomery Mazda of Charlotte is the shiz.

i wont include the contact info because its already here. i just wanted to let everyone know what a great service experience i have had.

i took my car in because it was smoking from the tail pipe. They were aware and stated they would perform the TSB for the crankcase vent system.

Needless to say while performing the work, the crack my cylinder head. So they replace the head.

Then, the get called from MNA that my car is outside the VIN range for the fix so they need to replace the turbo.

Bill in the service center is fantastic to work with. He seems kinda dry at first, but supper nice.

These guys did my leaky transfer case under my extended btb Mazda warranty, and that was fully bolted w/ meth. They love modded Mazdas. Tom even fought with Mazda on the phone for an hour to get a new driveshaft too. Bill woulda been $1,200+, but it was zilcho and he gave me a loaner for 2 days. I have the ridiculous Mazda extended warranty tho. It was pretty useless until I found out about Liberty Mazda. First thing Tom asked me was if I already upgraded my hpfp and if I had an upgraded rear diff mount! Fucking win.

OP thank you for the list! Perhaps it may be easier if they are listed alphabetically by state instead of order submitted? No ingrate... just saying.

Note: Best dealership I have ever had the pleasure of dealing with. Service Manager Cliff is mod friendly and a sponsor of the local Ottawa Mazda Club. Heavily involved in the local enthusiast community, also the facilities of the dealership are by far the best I've seen from a Mazda Dealership:

Elite Mazda features a 20-car showroom, 6-car drive-through service reception and state-of-the-art service centre with detailing facility. Elite also offers a spa-like setting, and many extras including an Internet cafe, a well-equipped gym complete with change rooms and showers, on-site hair and manicure salon, bistro, massage chairs, and even activities for children and teens.
If you're local, I suggest joining the local OMC cause they offer great discounts to members.

Ended up taking it to:

Gullo Mazda
750 I-45 South
Conroe, TX 77304
(936) 441-9100

I actually had shaft play in my turbo. I'm pretty sure he knew that I used to have an intake and race pipe, but he I replaced them before taking them in. The morning after I took the car in, they told they would replace it. They got the turbo in on a Monday (3 days after they said they would fix it) and had it done that afternoon. So 5 days to replace a turbo! Great turn around and they didn't really mind the catback, rear motor mount, and other minor mods I had.

My purchase experience was great, both my salesman (Corey) and my finance guy (Jeff drives a MS3) were very knowledgeable of their cars, the dealership is mod friendly and they want me to come back once I've started working on the car to show it off. They are also S-plan friendly another dealership in OK (that had the blue MS3 I wanted) wanted nothing to do with me or the S-plan pricing, but it's ok I got their car anyway.

Capitol Mazda, San Jose, CA.
Been 3 years since, but these guys rocked it. They sent a driver over to Modesto- 210 miles round trip to pick me up. Sold me a new speed, 19K.

Stockton Mazda... great factory repair shop. Smart techs, best service dept I've found (of the 5 ini central CA valley. No lying, no making shit up, no unecessary $$ to not fix a noise or problem.

Mazda of Lakewood
7999 West Colfax Ave
Lakewood, Colorado

Sales: 888-472-8555
Service: 888-481-9966

I have been to this dealership several times and I always have a good experience. I recently went in to order a new front mesh and a vacuum hose. I had a small leak in one of my vacuum lines from the small blue piece inside. (I noticed the piece as I was doing my new gaskets or the intake manifold) I ended up having to buy the whole hose along with the valve. The parts guy was so stoked I was taking the initiative to do all the work to my car and felt bad that I had to buy the whole hose. He saved me almost $200 on those two parts. He was also very knowledgeable and when I asked him about my rear window not initializing, he went and asked one of the mechanics so I could buy the part and install it myself. I will continue to go back for anything Mazda specific. They are awesome!

Browns Fairfax Mazda
10570 Fairfax Blvd Fairfax, VA 22030
(703) 385-8170

I live in Manassas, but I make the drive to visit this dealer. I never stock out for services, and Taylor with the Red team even compliments my wheels and talks to me about previous cars he's owned (S2k, Evo, STi, etc). I always just flash my AP to stock and I've never had any problems. Mod friendly dealer

Default Siemens Mazda, Saint Joseph, Michigan

Siemens is my Mazda dealer... they are a tiny Mazda dealership in Southwest Michigan. However, they are a true diamond in the rough. WARNING: Given their size, they are NOT a Speed dealer, so warranty work is not covered. However, if you're out of warranty... they are VERY mod friendly. They've put a number of parts on my car with great enthusiasm. I've also have never felt like I've been overcharged.

Their Service Manager, Ron is great at getting me in... sometimes the same day I call. Their master service technician, Dave is a Mazda national award winner multiple times over. He's bright, a perfectionist and fast. I can't say enough about Dave.

So, if you're in the area, check them out...

2712 Niles Avenue - Saint Joseph, MI 49085

This is Dave the day I traded my MZ3 for my Speed3. My old 3 in the back. Don't ask me what he's doing with that hammer. LOL.

Okay just took my car to the local dealer in Clarksville TN. I went in with a broken shift cable.

Mods installed at the time:AP, internals, ur DP, Cobb Sri, resonator delete, 50% ethanol mix.

Absolutely no problems getting it under warranty so I figured I'd post this up on the friendly dealer list.

I'll second this opinion on Mike.

I bought my MS3 from Tom Roush in 2008 and have all the oil/rotation service done by them.
Mike is almost always the guy I talk to.

Mike has shown me around their bays and showed me some RX7 13B blocks they were working on and told me some history of their customers.

I asked him about the VVT/white-smoke issues and they checked out my car and I asked if adding an aftermarket intake myself would be a problem and he said no, the only real issue or warranty "voiding" mods they look out for are poor maintenance or turbo mods. He said, have fun, put on the intake.

I also asked him if he knew anyone that might do some decent brake caliper paint-work and by the end of a day, he had a name for me.

He didn't have to give a shit at all about that stuff, but he did.
