Default shipping a block
A question for anyone that has shipped an engine block.

How did you package the block?

On a pallet, lots of bubble wrap and Saran wrap.
Contact a local freight company or go to uship.com
Use tie downs to hold it to the pallet

Not much to it. Cover to keep water out, and ratchet strap it to a pallet.
I've used freightz.com twice with good results--they didnt charge extra for pickup with a liftgate .
