trade-in is gonna be whatever it will bring at auction, so prolly 4k. and as far as selling for 10k, you really buttfucked the appearance of it so you'd be lucky to find someone who has money and is also retarded.

$10K for a well maintained rust free built engine version... Maybe 7-8 for a stock engine good condition fairly modded version... probably closer to 6 if its got any sort of rust.

I haven't seen the car, but it is a good point that if the exterior is really customized it detracts from the value... people are looking for mint condition stock looking ones nowadays.

I like the exterior mods except the tail lights and wheels. Not a fan of what you did to the interior and that alone will detract buyers. Looks a bit teenager. Though some may find all the red highlights appealing. Never know.

I do know it takes a long time to sell these cars so you'll need to be patient. Auto Trader is a good bet as well as Ebay. With the low miles and exterior enhancements I don't think 10K is at all unreasonable. Maybe do a comp and leakdown test with paperwork as to entice buyers. I personally worry about engine health first and foremost when I see a speed that's not stock in appearance. Maybe stock out the interior.

Dude trade-in will be shit don't do that. I would get that interior back to stock and like Thor mentioned above, the comp & leakdown tests with paperwork will entice the buyers who are buying the car for what it is and not the immature buyer trying to stiff you for quick fun car on the cheap. I'm curious (after seeing the interior) as to what your engine bay looks like...

Someone finally said what we were probably all thinking. OP caught me on a good day so I was trying to be optimistic on his behalf, but you're right. Asking way too much for this car.

OP, go give it to CarMax and report back on what great price they gave you for the car.

This car in good condition with reasonably low miles is very hard to find! You bash him for asking 10K so how about you tell him what you think its worth? Here in California you would be hard pressed to get one for less than 8-9 grand stock.

There's a 2006 here in Cali for 9K with 100k miles on Auto Trader and its only sport interior. Just as an example. And OP has done a lot to his car. Not to mention rust free which is also hard to find.

All the speeds on Auto Trader at least go from 7-10K stock and most exceed 100k miles.

Good luck OP. Hold out for the right buyer and you should get close to your asking price from an enthusiast. If it was silver and had stock interior I would be very interested!

Paid 7k for mine 2+ years ago with 114k miles from a mom/pop dealer. But it was listed for 10k.
