| Not Ranked : 0 score @bbarnhill; When entering SAE options. For barometric pressure, should it be based of our altitude or should we be entering the current barometric pressure? Because basing it off my current altitude (2200 Ft) I end up getting a barometric pressure of 27.72 in/Hg. When I search up the current pressure it comes our to ~29.6 in.Hg. This is a big difference when plugging in these numbers. like 20-30 whp difference...

| Not Ranked : 0 score You should use your current pressures. If you have a local weather station, you can probably get up to date info from them.

(Thread Starter) | Not Ranked : 0 score its your local barometric pressure. You can obviously correct using SAE but I recommend using it without SAE correction because what VD will put out as a graph will be what your car makes not what it 'could' make at some place that you are not. Thats just my two cents that depreciate daily.

| Not Ranked : 0 score Uninstall again, and then run a regedit and search for the word "dyno". Delete all folders fully associated with Vdyno and the keys only in other folders. You can press F3 to find next, should be about 6 folders/keys to remove. Try reinstalling after that.

| Not Ranked : 0 score I just updated to the version 1.2.5 from one of the first versions (1.2.1), and am having that same problem. No drop down of cars to choose from. Certainly a bit frustrating but I'm hoping to find a fix relatively soon. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling, but with no such luck.

(Thread Starter) | Not Ranked : 0 score The different versions arent going to correct the drop down being blank. I think what is causing this issue is the fact that they moved the virtualdyno server the other day and it wasnt able to pull the car definitions. If you open windows explorer and put %appdata% in the address bar it will take you to the application data folder. In there you will see Virtual Dyno's folder. Go in there and delete everything from that folder including the Cars folder. This will cause VD to redownload all the cars.

| Not Ranked : 0 score Does VT save to a .csv format? If so then you can make it work. It needs to see a valid time, RPM, speed data columns (TPS, boost and AFR is nice and can be used too). VT might give any of those parameters a non-standard name in the .csv file, but you could easily rename a column to "RPM" or whatever so it auto recognizes it. |

| Not Ranked : 0 score Yes, you can use VT logs in VD. There is even a VD-specific export option (export as "Virtual Dyno compatible CSV) within the VT software.
