| Not Ranked : 0 score They get really hot still, but they cool off quickly (esp when coated inside and out). If you run it hard for a long time you can make it glow like it was plain, but you'd be able to grab the pipe within a few minutes of shutdown.

I came across a thread that said you (edgeautosport) can tap the runner for cylinder 3 prior to sending it out but I can't find it anymore. Anyway, if you indeed can do this, do you have an idea for where the perfect location on the runner would be with regards to fitment and access issues and of course accurate readings. Also, if were talking about a ceramic coated manifold, would the tapping be done after the ceramic coat is applied or before--i am wondering if there are any detrimental effects to the integrity of the ceramic coating. | Not Ranked : 0 score Ceramic coating is usually done to the outside only to make sure nothing flakes off on the inside and gets eaten by the hotside wheel. Third tapped for what, exactly?
