Good idea!

Jason, when you used the Dynapro and the stock rotors, did you need spacers for the wheels you had on? Specs on wheels if you didnt? Also are you able to comment on the pedal feel and braking bias, particularly with the stock rotor caliper options. Cheers

lup,

I did not need spacers. My Advans are 18x8 +38MM. The brake pedal feel was great. Car stops very very nice. No fade.

Yes, we installed them on an 09 and tried to fit the stock wheels without spacers. they just barely do not clear the front face of the caliper. They fit perfect with a 5mm spacer though.

Not sure yet as we haven't got any second gen wheels laying around. Since they are a half inch wider with the same offset, it is more likely they will fit without spacers than the first gen.

Understood, not wanting to see stock wheel clearance (also not running stock wheels).

Hoping to see how the caliper mounts and potential obviously visible size differences between stock calipers - haven't seen any comparisons done yet?

Aware these are rears too, but all good Sure when you're ready some more pictures will appear.

I got the 4 pot set. I mainly Autox and only for fun, so I figured these would suit me perfectly. They said it will be at least a week before they ship though.

Fronts or rear? I'm still working with JP to perfect the rear BBK and make it THE easiest and best rear brake upgrade option.

Just the front for now. I may do the rear eventually. We will just have to see how these work out.

Figured while I am waiting for my calipers I would grab some DBA slotted rotors to go on when I get them. Thanks again Edge for the awesome hook up.

Will they be full kits with rotors etc or calliper only kits... or both?

Also interested if the will use the stock lines or equivalent (Australian design rules compliance)

I'm sure they will simply offer the same kits with a ms6 specific bracket and rotor.

kinda late to the thread but glad to see these. been looking for more rear bias, these are gonna be nice without having to go super aggressive on the rear pads.

Awesome. I was searching google and from what I could find they lacked dust covers which made them non compliant but good to hear they are.

Yeah, there are very few Wilwood offerings that I know of which use dust boots...

Woot, I have been so busy with work I haven't had time to check on the fun stuff. My brakes shipped yesterday and will be here tomorrow!!!! I am meeting up with some of the Austin and SA NATOR guys this weekend, as long as they are delivered to my cube before I leave work tomorrow then I should be able to have some test fit pics of them on my PU with stock wheels this weekend. Going to wait for my new DBA's before fully installing them.

Glad to hear ms6 options coming out. Will they be priced the same as the ms3? I would think the only thing changing is the mounting bracket. Are we looking this year or next year release? As far as pads go, are willwood pads the only option, or are there comparable options.

Other manufactures make pads that will fit these calipers.

Don't know if the pictures will post from my phone but the 4pot fronts fit perfect behind PU stock rims.

No Spacers needed at all? This is excellent news. How much clearance is there exactly? is it a couple of mm or is it a fairly large gap?

hmmmm. they dont use much of the disk surface. Is this common?

I know that the farther the caliper is out, the more torque the calipers can put on the rotors, but what about surface area of the pad?

here is the stock caliper for reference:

Are these fully mounted in the picture. The outer edge of the pad seems to extend beyond the outer edge of the rotor. Seems like the caliper should be pushed closer to the centre of the hub.

I'll have to look again, there looked to be no issues when I mounted them and no one from nator noted an issue. I will post up again when I have my rotors in. This time I was only testing to see if they fit behind the wheels.

Either its not fully mounted, or the pistons are retracted a long way and you're getting all kinds of parralax bullshit that is making the image look out of wack.

If the rotor and pad doesn't align properly then that's a total lollercaust.

That is one thing to note, the brake lines were not connected and the pistons are fully retracted.

The bridge is missing in that pic too, so that obviously isn't an "all buttoned up" pic...

The part you are taking about is an optional piece for the wilwoods and not stock. The pictures are pretty much fully bolted but not bedded or bled.
