(Thread Starter) | Not Ranked : 0 score To choke the turbo I would have to run it over 32 PSI with the upgraded thrust bearing according to the compressor map and that's approx 65lbs per minute of air. I'm looking for time attack response out this one. I'm also upgrading my rods only going with Manley H beams on the stock bore I believe. Daily I'm going to run 7psi springs in the wastegates and try to push about 400whp for my track tune I'm going to drop in the 21 psi springs and run about 24 to 29 psi for what looks like a 600 to 625 peak hp range. |

| Not Ranked : 0 score I mean if you're looking for insta-response at a lower HP then you'll get it, that's not a problem. If you're ever looking for high HP out of it with that small of a housing I don't you could get 600 HP out of it. |

| Not Ranked : 0 score YES! Finally another twinscroll build. Looking forward to your results man. Right now I have full boost right at 4k and I'm on a 1.25 housing. I want to go smaller but they don't offer a smaller housing yet. I think he'd be able to get some more out of it than that. I've seen single scroll .82 T3 housings taken over 800awhp. OP are you going with T3 or T4?

| Not Ranked : 0 score Wait. Why only upgrade the rods if you are shooting for 600whp? Sure, pistons and L19 head studs are extra money, but if you'll already have the bottom end apart, may as well upgrade those too for peace of mind. Also, I'm going to assume that you're getting the short block machined since you'll have it apart, yes? If not, do it. If so, even more reason to go ahead and upgrade the pistons and head studs.

| Not Ranked : 0 score Since they keep banning me for absolutely no reason I figured I would create a new account to update you on my build. I'm only posting this to help others who may want to do this themselves one day. Manifold and intercooler piping are finished The intercooler piping fits around the engine now instead of on top of it Running an HKS BOV so we are going to run the Ford ECO boost maf sensor is a blow through configuration close to the throttle body and after the BOV so fuel trims can be spot on Also putting a vacuum nipple on the down pipe for a Venturi OCC setup AN fittings for the hoses from top to bottom Hope you like the update |
