Default ABS, traction control, E brake lights ???

All three lights came on earlier when I got a little rambunctious and left a bit of rubber on the pavement. Stopped for gas and they were off when I got back in. Been searching the ol` internet for a couple of hours for a cause and found squat. Today was actually the second time it did it, the first being a couple of days ago when it was drizzling and I peeled out leaving an uphill traffic light. Car drives just fine while the lights are on, they go off when I shut the car off and so far only come on when I peel out (intentionally or not). Any ideas?

Is it throwing any codes... It may be a faulty abs sensor or the dreaded module fail

Only had an issue once with the abs and traction control light together but Not the E light, so i checked under the front wheels where the brake system is and the wire was loose, I used the soldering tool to put them together and elct tape over it and everything was fine, but sounds like you have more issues also with the brake, not sure about the cable underneath and some other sensor

Module fail? Tried various combinations of "mazdaspeed module fail" in a search and turned up bupkis. What module, and how common of a failure?

Well...FWIW, no codes related to this. It`s wet outside so I took it out and forced it to happen, no codes. Hooked up the scanner to run a real time code log, nothing triggered. It only does it when the tires lose forward traction, so I`m going to guess it has to do with whatever controls the traction control. I`ll investigate further, just sharing as I go in the event someone else stumbles across this with the same problem.

By the way, it runs perfectly fine while the lights are on. It`s almost like they`re just a reminder saying "hey, you lost traction recently".

If you're constantly spinning tires, you might want to look into a driver mod.

Not that I don`t enjoy the occasional burnout, but I wouldn`t say `constantly` is a word I`d use here. It`s happened three times. The first was totally my doing; I was horsing around. The second was a particularly notorious uphill stop sign and damp pavement. I could have probably avoided that one with a bit of elegant clutch work. Then today it was very intentional for the purpose of triggering the lights to come on. It`s again rainy outside and I knew I could break the tires loose in a semi-controlled environment.

Keep in mind the car is still relatively new to me. It`s by no means the fastest or most powerful car I`ve owned, but I do get out and push it a little harder up front to see how it behaves and reacts so I know what to expect from `er if god forbid I find myself in a situation where I`ve got to trust the car.

Hello! Apologies for resurrecting a fairly old thread, but I just bought a 2010 Speed3 and ran into this exact problem under the exact same circumstances. Just wondering if this was ever sorted out? Similar to OP, I cannot find much other info about this issue online, and am hoping that either OP or someone else with experience with this issue can help point me towards a solution here. Thanks so much in advance!
