(Thread Starter) | Not Ranked : 0 score Been out to sea and been really busy lately so i haven't had a whole lot of time to do anything with my car. anyways though, i got around to doing the boost leak test today and I had to tighten up quite a bit. Once I got everything tight, I was getting about 20psi and I had air coming out of my crankcase. This was using a pvc cap with tire stem into my turbo inlet pipe. Is this normal and does this mean all my connections are good? |

| Not Ranked : 0 score That's not normal. Where exactly was the air coming out?

(Thread Starter) | Not Ranked : 0 score well i thought it was coming out of my oil cap but it was the connection right below it. When I opened up the oil cap, all the pressure released through it. |

| Not Ranked : 0 score Subbing because the last boost test I did had the same results. Loss of pressure near the sensor below oil cap. Wondering if PCV is shot.

| Not Ranked : 0 score Cap the valve cover vent line while testing. or just run the boost leak test from the first hotpipe and not from the intake.

| Not Ranked : 0 score If you do it from the end of your intake (just by removing filter) you need to block where ur intake connects to the valve cover breather or your pressurising ur valve cover and thats why air is leaking out. Sent from my GT-I9300 using Tapatalk

| Not Ranked : 0 score Yea blah. I didn't do that. I was in a hurry and tired from trouble shooting a leaky BPV.
