(Thread Starter) | Not Ranked : 0 score I found these 17x8 wheels that should fit, I just don't know about the 35mm offset. I have stock suspension, will these rub? Does the $399 price tag mean these wheels are $hit? What's a typical tire size for this setup?

| Not Ranked : 0 score those should be fine. I'm running 17x9+48s which puts my wheel rim as close to the fender as a 17x8+35. With 205 or 215 tires you should be fine with no roll or anything.

| Not Ranked : 0 score If you're investing in a winter set, steelies + blizzaks can be had for ~5 or 600 iirc

| Not Ranked : 0 score If you're looking for winter wheels & tires, going wider than stock on the wheels is probably something you want to avoid. (assuming you want to put the snow tires on them and not on your stockers)

| Not Ranked : 0 score Agree with hamfisted, thinner always better to cut through snow. I had some Thule chains too that saved my ass a few times. Not good to have on for an extended time, but nothing beats them if things get really rough out there. |

| Not Ranked : 0 score Just to add to this... I ran an 18x8+35 with a 225/40/18 lowered on CS Springs, and the rear rubs with 3 people in the car. But if you're stock height and NOT running 225s you should be more than fine. |

| Not Ranked : 0 score Leaving aside the potential rubbing issues, 35mm offset is going to sand your sides pretty bad in the winter. I'm running a 205/50/r17 tire with 40mm ET and it's not that pleasant, they're as wide as my summer 48mm ET with 225mm tires on them.
