From what i read, it can log it's faster than torque but not fast as the AP and it does allow alarms and buzz if knock, overheat, overboost over a certain predefined limit. also have min and max like the ap. and also personal configuration of gauge quantity and location.

VT supports Mazda specific PIDs with proper scaling -allow alarms and buzz if knock, overheat, overboost etc (Serious lack from the AP V3) VT allows visual and audible alarms for any PID with configurable thresholds -Allow max and min frozen frame (like torque/ap) The VT live dashboard shows current value, as well as min and max values for each PID -Allow personal configuration of gauge quantity and location ? You can select any combination of logging PIDs up to 16 concurrent PIDs Are we still needed to work with metric and absolute pressure scale ? You can use metric or imperial values. You can log relative boost pressure. Tuning tables use the native values of the ECU which are absolute pressure. If you bought your AP new, you can't get ATR without first paying for a tuning class. Yes, you have to go back to school before they will allow you to tune your own car.

Not only that, but it won't even be available until at least the end of October.
