We built this application for functionality, improvement on handling over the stock spec suspension setup. While the low and mid damping range is suitable for daily driving, once you set the damping level to higher scale you will have the ability to take it around the track or Auto-X/Drag.

Our coilover may not allow you to STANCE and TUCK your wheel and tires, but it will maintain the factory ride quality with real improvement in the handling department.

We are new to the MazdaSpeed community, but our other line of coilover have been on the market since 2008 not to mention; that our manufacturer has 18 years of racing history with 15 years of experience in building some of the best coilover on the market.

Pictures showing the inner of mono-tube design.

Features CNC polish tubing, double seal for higher compression and to avoid leak and blown shock.

For those of you have our coils installed on your MazdaSpeed, please provide some feedback of the handling characteristics over stock suspension.

Have you heard anything about rusting issues? I emailed months ago, was told I'd be put into contact with someone else and then never heard anything. The only response I ever got was due to other rust on my car, my coilovers rusted because rust is "contagious."

Yes I live in a harsh winter climate, where all our cars rust eventually. This all occurred in one winter, I'm pretty surprised by the amount of rust.

I'm not trying to bash the product, I actually love the way the car handles with this suspension but am disappointed with how quickly they are rusting. The springs and end links in particular are just plain falling apart.

Not a problem, I am here to help.

With any coilover installation, we recommend treating your rust and seal them prior to the install.

It seems like your strut holder, sway bar, and most of the lower end is rusted badly.

Do you have pictures of the factory strut? And was the rust treated prior to your install?

Rust is a form of corrosion that occurs when iron with oxygen and water or any form of liquid.

It spreads quickly, and it's highly corrosive to any form of metal in the area.

Go ahead and PM me your order number, any pictures of the suspension component prior to the suspension install.

Keep in mind that all of our suspension use Forged T6 Aluminum for moving parts, and it is coated with powdercoating paint and another layer of powdercoating clear.

You can drop the springs on the ground and usually it will not chip the paint, in this case it looks like the chemical reaction is making it chip.

Tomorrow, I will upload some pictures of our coilover removed from our shop car after three winters in the DMV area. ( YES WE DO GET SNOW!)

Fixed all my clunking noises, it was a problem with the right endlink being slightly too long and not tight enough. These coilovers are great for the money you spend and handle really well. Besides me wearing out the front blue collar paint, I would say they are perfect. My dampening is set to 9/7 and it’s perfect for my daily driving. I have taken some sharp corners going ~35mph and the handing is money.

Here is a pic of me messing with the height. It was fun for about a day, got old real fast. Interesting to see the adjustability though:

This is the height when I first installed:

This is the same height as pic 2. Looks too low because I'm on a sidewalk..

Another random cell phone pic:

I have really nice clean shots on a better camera that I will post up when I have more time.

mine have been installed a few weeks now and i love them. and as far as the comment about not being able to "tuck" and "stance" the car, these can get them pretty close, the fronts especially.

My current ride height doesn’t bother me or my lip at all. It really sucked having the front lip when it was super low. I am going to paint the lip and I wouldn’t even attempt that unless driving conditions were easy in any given location. Surprisingly speed bumps are easy to get over. I can almost take them straight on The lip adds some aggressive taste to the front end that I cannot live without now.

I'll be installing mine tomorrow. Hopefully I can figure it out. Seems pretty straight forward. This is my first time installing coilovers so this could get interesting real quick. On a side note, your instructions are very vague and mostly faded. I can hardly ready the words on most of them and the pictures....well, let's just say I've seen darker watermarks...lol. I'll post up some pics when I'm all said and done with it.

Coilovers are an easy install. Where the time consumption and patience come in are the tuning.

Do the instructions mentioned any 'recommended settings' ?

Otherwise they should be installed like any other. .just look over the threads.

Dude the instrustions may as well have not even been there. Little to help whatsoever. IMO, they aren't really needed for the installation process, as this was my first time doing it and aside from the fucking factory endlinks being assholes, it was straight forward and fairly easy. That said, some detailed instructions on how to properly adjust the height and everything would be nice for us noobs. I got the rear perfect on the first try, but my fronts are about at stock height so I gotta get back at it.

Also, I can't seem to figure out an easy way of adjusting the height the fronts without pretty much removing the whole coilover and I'd really rather not do that if I cant help it.

Tips and adjustments (as I mentioned) are exactly where the help would be most..helpful.

As a side note, @sonic tuning; did you guys ever get these on a dyno?

Do the instructions mentioned any 'recommended settings' ?

Otherwise they should be installed like any other. .just look over the threads.

I will go ahead and email you the instructions that we have on google doc, they are linked to your invoice at purchase.

Hey guys,
I'm in the middle of trying to dial these in. Quick question. Are you guys running the recommended 1/4" preload on the spring? @superskaterxes; Or are you guys just running it, to where the spring is just snug with two lock rings (no spring movement). i figured that with that 1/4'' preload, wouldn't the spring want to extend faster, causing the front end to shoot up after a bump?

i typically run the 1/4" preload and it has worked out well for me so far. the more preload you have the harsher the ride will be so thats why 1/4" is a good rule of thumb.
