| Not Ranked : 0 score We will have some results of what the MAzdaEdit software can do in about 3 days. 08 MS3 with an intake and turbo-back. Did have some decent luck with it on a 07 2.5 n/a car today. Even though it wasn't developed for that ecu. Good results nonetheless. Still needs some work. But I have more positive aspirations about the MS3's. |

| Not Ranked : 0 score I've been looking around, and there are a number of 3000 psi sensors that may be candidates for replacing the stock sensor. I think because of the electrical headroom issue with the stock sensor, a 3000 psi sensor with an electrical scaling circuit may be a best final solution. Of course, if the pump can't make 2200+ psi, or the injectors don't function properly at excessive pressures, it may be a moot point. |

(Thread Starter) | Not Ranked : 0 score I've heard that the pump can make up to 6000psi, and blow up the fuel rail, lol, so pressures should not be an issue, but injector function is a definite concern. I'm sure it would be fairly easy to make an adapter plug to run a different sensor. And if the new sensor was on a 3000psi scale, it may not even need a scaling circuit, just some tuning. I think baby steps are important though, hahaha. I built 2 circuits last night, need to get a few more parts tonight and build 3 more. I think the likely candidates are: Socks JJ Superskater Mark (if he wants one, not sure if he does since his stand back already does it) ... and who else do you guys think?

If my set up is anything like 18PSIWhiteMs3 i will make more then 400 whp and that scurred the crap outta me. seeing how I have 50k on the dot as of tonight and 18psi has 8k? lol when I do the install I plan on driving to Akuma ASAP to get dyno tuned. I trust stock bottom end with 400whp is safe enough with a good tune but lets say I install this new sensor and have Akuma tune for it?.. I don't wanna be the first guy to find out how much power a 2.3mzr can make before I go boom on stock block!...lol I suggest 18PSIwhitems3 and or samsel....they both have gt3076's on stock motors and maybe one will be willing to see how much more power they can make with the new sensor and tune. If you can get this sensor out to one of them and we see well over 400whp on stock bottom blocks then I'll deff be down for the senor. as of now I'll do my install (hope to make 400whp) and when I feel the time is right i'll build my motor. I hope installing the 3071 with 50k I won't blow a hole in the block if anything goes wrong..lets just hope for a fried piston ring and low compression then I will have the will to build..if hole in block...I'll have to think real hard on what I wanna do. again...contact 18psi and samsel and lets hope they are down for makin 500 whp on stock bottom. if they can I will.... ty for thinking of me as "that speedsixxx guy" lol =)

(Thread Starter) | Not Ranked : 0 score Double post merge will probably kill my bump, but oh well All ckts are built. I need to test them one more time in their housings, and will probably ship them tomorrow (sat) or next monday. I'm leaning towards monday, cause that will give me a chance to at least list the tables that will likely require tuning. I also want to stress that this is completely experimental on all our part. Install at your own will, and nobody's responsible for any damage incurred if there is any. If you guys want to wait till my pump shows up, and let me do all the guinea work, i will, and i'll post up any issues as they pop up. Right now i'm just sending out 4 units, to Socks, Super, JJ, and speedsixxx. Only concern i can think of right now, is that the circuit's output (since it's a single supply op-amp) clips at a lil above 4V and just below 1V (on the output, ecu side). But from what i understand, the ecu would never be commanding for >4V or <1V, since idle is 1.4V or so, and 1600psi is 3.8V. Again, i'll guinea this shit if you guys want to wait.
