| Not Ranked : 0 score I've bought tons of racing beat stuff on the multiple Rx-7's and 8's I've worked on, but for some reason lately they have completely ignored my information on the genpu speed3. I have probably e-mailed them 3 times concerning any video or sound clip or even anyone who owns one. No one has responded in about 2 months. I'm extremely disappointed, and I don't know about you guys, but I'm not willing to shell out the cash without knowing how it sounds. CRAP advertising if you ask me. I wonder what's going on over there. |

| Not Ranked : 0 score I'm thinking about doing the same thing and having a local exhaust shop hack the resonator and muffler and just run some pipes back. Would this affect the fuel pump at all? Or anything else negatively. My car is currently 100% stock. |

| Not Ranked : 0 score I have not notice anything yet..no fuel cut or anything...its only straight pipe from the 2nd cat back..i stock have my stock dp and just a test pipe in there.. I dont think you have to worry till you start to get a dp and up the boost with a ap. Then you would like to get a fuel pump after that...

I've been thinking of getting the resonator delete but i don't think it is gonna be as loud as i want it. if im gonna start cutting into the stock exhaust, i think i will just get the straight pipe run back so that i avoid paying twice. my main thing is not messing up the fuel pump. nataphen has got me all scared thinking its gonna fail with even basic mods lol. thats why i have been so reluctant to do anything. |

| Not Ranked : 0 score Well its just a catback exhaust with a test pipe.. i mean your still going to have alot of restriction with the stock dp..and its not going to raise the boost on you with the testpipe. You might see like a 1-2hp gain with a test pipe.. When i did my dyno the only thing i really noticed was it was alittle better mid-range.. But thats only because theres now better flow with the exhaust... but shit i only have 4k on the car my pump goes im bringing it to the dealership and act like idk what happened lol

| Not Ranked : 0 score How do you like yours overall in terms of cabin sound and drone? I am deciding between this one and the Magnaflow and I like how this one does sound a bit more throaty but I have not heard the Magnaflow with a test pipe yet.

Bottom Line: Sounds fucking sick outside of the car, drone isn't bad at all but only slightly at 3k rpms, and the actual exhaust note isn't that loud. KEEP IN MIND: I do have a race pipe as well, so it won't be as loud if you don't get one. I hope that helps. Lemme know if you have any other questions or concerns.

I saw your drive-by video and it sounds very nice. The only Gen2 magnaflow videos are with just the CBE and with the stock catted mid pipe. Would love to hear it with a test pipe.

| Not Ranked : 0 score Ultimate Racing for the win! I gotta say when I first installed it i thought I made a mistake because it seemed LOUD. Either it mellowed out or i just got used to it haha, but i don't regret it at all now. I think it's the perfect tone, and yes as others have said it even sounds better outside the car then inside. You will get compliments that's for sure. Sometimes i'll just drive with the windows down and radio off and listen to the growl. Might as well get the test pipe while your at it since this it turns out is the easier part of the test pipe+catback install.

I totally agree about hearing your exhaust in your drivers seat. Everyone tells me it sounds way better outside.

| Not Ranked : 0 score Ordered the Performance Muffler from Ultimate Racing. this morning. Going to pick it up tomorrow. Went with just the muffler for now. Dont hate on me, I will upgrade later to full cat-back and test pipe once an intake is on and cobb Access Port is here. I will try and get some sound clips up once its on because i havent seen any clips with jsut the muffler. usually all clips have the full cat-back system.

| Not Ranked : 0 score haha yea thats why i was kinda sketchy about just doing the muffler. i will say that its a bit quieter than i expected but it is just the muffler. fit and finish is incredible and it definitely sounds good. all ive gotten is compliments. once i figure out how to do sound clips, i will post one.

| Not Ranked : 0 score I was really considering buying the Magnaflow CBE since the price is unbeatable,sounded great, and wasn't too loud--but, yesterday I went to lunch early and stopped by this one place close to work from me to have my buddy throw on the test pipe. I was supposed to do that this weekend but he did it for $10, so ended up being a no brainer. Well why he had the car up, I told him to remove the resonator as well for an additional $10. Needless to say I might just pass on getting a CBE for a while. It might just be my last mod if it ever even get to the point where it will become too restrictive. The sound is awesome. I would recommend anyone with a TP to get their resonator removed. There is a little more drone but it's mostly in the background, however, the sound is just right imho. It nice has that deep gurgle ( I think someone referred to it as Bison's having sex) and it sounds sexy when you let the rpms die down when coming to a stop. I think I am going to take the $700ish that I saved and put it towards a DP and meth kit, which will give me a lot more bang for the buck than the cbe. Hope this helps anyone on the fence about the resonator delete or buying a cbe.
