I installed my Turbo XS downpipe and race pipe along with a Corksport Exhaust and i can say i am in heaven, it is so loud and obnouxious i love it, makes me that much happier.

There is NO drone on the highway what so ever, maybe even quieter then stock, it is absolutely fantastic.

I do wake my up my neighborhood when i drive home late at night but its so worth it, it can be fairly quiet if you try hard enough, i just dont

i live in a apt complex and i know for a fact everyone hates me on cold starts.

especially if i leave for work at 545am or 1045 pm.

Sir, how do you not have any drone on the highway? My drone is pretty bad at 3k rpms, which is cruising speed in 6th gear...

I don't have drone either. But I'm use to loud exhausts so I'm prolly just se to it

You guys realize that you have different exhausts right? Exhausts do sound/drone differently. The CS exhaust is great about drone.

Interesting isn't it that still no one has forked over the money for the Racing Beat. Seems like they're doing some seriously shitty customer service over there. No vids, no clips, no responses to e-mails, nothing. I really do wonder what it sounds like though, cause I've always liked their products...

^Agreed... The thing that made me chose UR was cause of their Winter 15% off Sale, UR was slightly quieter than CS, and the fact that CS has uneven piping for the axleback. Maybe the uneven piping really doesn't make a huge difference, but it mattered to me.

I would recommend anyone wanting the magnaflow exhaust to use hotexhausts.com. They got it shipped to me in 2 days lol!

I hope your downpipe and magnaflow work out well for you but check this out (my experience with a UR test pipe and the magnaflow).

I have the magnaflow cbe and the UR test pipe on my genpu...no complaints except for the sound and the fact that some of the packing material they sent my exhaust in stuck to the muffler! Before I put the test pipe on the magnaflow exhaust was too quiet and now it sounds ok but I like my sound. Now im looking into the UR cbe.

I dont want to do the catless downpipe and magnaflow exhaust and it be obnoxious on cold starts. Def dont want to piss off the new neighbors straight off the bat lol!

I will be doing this soon also. Just need to find someone who isn't going to charge out the but to cut off the stupid 2.5" part of the Magnaflow and weld on some 3" tube and a flange.

Just put the magnaflow cbe and SU testpipe on my car. I'm pretty satisfied. Like everyone else says its not super loud and there is next to no cabin noise, but as soon as you get on it a little its got a nice deep tone. Its perfect for a daily driver and the install was pretty easy. One thing I did run into and I am kinda curious if any other genpu's had this problem but right where the testpipe connects to what I'm assuming is the midpipe or next pipe in the exhaust system going outwards rattled like a mf'er against the brace that was located right underneath that spot. I ended up just taking it off b/c there just wansn't enough clearance for the exhaust to move without hitting it. Any one else have this problem and is there an alternate brace out there that can be used that allows for more room?

BTW I'll post a vid of how the exhaust sounds if anyone is interested. (I know there's one on this thread already but some sound different than others)

I believe Corksport makes a replacement brace that gives you a little more clearance.
The 2nd version of their exhaust comes with it for the same reason you describe.
I have not heard of anyone else with the Magnaflow descrive this.
I will be putting mine on this weekend hopefully (if it is here by then), and will let you know.

I think the cpe sounds pretty good though. The txs is loud and raspy sounding... That may be what you are looking for, but I prefer more of a smooth tone.

I'm actually very happy with my CPE. Not to loud, and adds a nice deep tone. I tried to get a vid of it, but my camera doesn't take very good videos.
