I've heard installing a DP will help increase low end torque but I was asking my self if we do really need more torque with this front wheeler? I'm looking for DP because I can run a stage2 map with the AP and I heard the gain in significant with the DP vs. the TP or the CBE. For now I'll keep in mind the UR CBE. I just need a DP combo solution that still makes driving my car fun Thanks for your inputs!

| Not Ranked : 0 score Here's a quick question: I have a UR TP at home and a UR DP on the way. My KMD internals should be here soon as well. I'd like to run the Stage 2 maps, but the Cobb specs sheet say that all stage 2 maps require a CBE. Can I run a stage 2 map with just the DP (catted) +TP? Or do I need to purchase one of these before? I was very interested in the Magnaflow until I saw the post above with the restrictive 2 1/4 pipe, which is now pushing me towards CS. Thanks

| Not Ranked : 0 score If I understand correctly, removing the resonator will increase sound volume? I'm in CA- does the resonator do something for smog shit? I freind of mine that races trucks has a valve installed upstream if the muffler- when open, it sounds like a V6 chainsaw. Can the MS3 gen 1 get some tweaking like this? I just wanna hear my car a little more. And I dont want to spend 5-600 bucks for a little more sound. |

There are a few videos on here of the resonator delte+ test pipe combo and it sounds great. You also really have to hear it in person to appreciate it. The test pipe will delete the secondary cat that is not monitored by the ECU so you won't throw a CEL either and emissions will be fine as well.

The tone is the same as the catback, just the overall volume is a bit quieter. Its probably a little louder with the res delete. Interior sound is about same as stock with little to no drone, stock might actually have more drone. Enjoy! |
