Default Definitive Exhaust Thread - Gen 2
If this is a bad idea, I apologize

Previous forums I have been on had one of these and I think they are extremely useful. This thread can be used to post ALL exhaust systems available for the Gen2. We can use this as a tool to reduce the number of threads/questions posted about exhaust systems.

Definitely sounds good, I have my res deleted on my GTI, and it is a great $60 alternative. Some say it doesn't sound as good, but I love the sound of my GTI and your MS3 sounds great!

Just FYI To my knowledge the magnaflow kit for the gen 2 is not in production yet. I know a guy who works for a direct buyer of magnaflow and he was told it's not out yet but should be soon. The one in the video above is probably custom.

Yup, you guys are right. I don't know what the hell my buddy is talking about then. Unless maybe they dont have any to ship out at the moment.

BTW how do you like the magnaflow? It always sounds different in person than a video.

I don't think the videos do the CPE justice. I put mine on a little while ago and it actually sounds really good. Not too loud, but much deeper than stock. I'll see if I can get a decent video.

I have the CS short ram and tip, but I think I will more than likely pick up the Magnaflow exhaust. I am sure it has a nice smooth sound with a catless downpipe.

I have not bought anything from them... I am trying to sell the rest of my parts from my S2000 and I will be buying it.

If you do a google search on them they seem to be legit.
