Just installed the mount last thursday, here's my 2c on it:

Ride: 2013 speed 3, 19,xxx miles

This mount is AMAZING...if you've been on the fence, you need to grab this.

My prior setup was the CS trilogy (TMM insert, 70d RMM, and PMM). The vibes and NVH with the CS PMM were awful. I didn't mind the vibes so much, but the PMM noise induced was horrible. The "ticking" of the direct inject motor was pretty loud, and the engine sounded like it was sick. The misses knew instantly when i put the mount in, and commented on why my car sounded so bad (that and the added vibes/drone).

After reading all the glowing reviews on here, i decided to try the Damond PMM. Best decision ever. NVH on the BRAND NEW mount was SIGNIFICANTLY reduced compared to the CS PMM that had a few thousand miles on it. The awful "ticking" noise was gone, i could hear my exhaust note (UR resonated CBE) over the engine noise, and random panels that would rattle through the RPM range would no longer buzzing. On the highway, drone is back to normal (or atleast comparible) to what it was with the factory PMM and my UR exhaust.

The best thing yet....it passed the wife test! When she notices a difference (and approves), that's worth its weight in gold.

Next on the list, trying out the JBR RMM. I have it ordered, just need to toss it in

Do yourself a favor, grab this mount and start spinning those tires! Car feels amazballs with this PMM.

Just checking cause I was like what the hell is this. No worries now cause I love the new 2-3 shifts. No more lock out cause the engine is moving while I shift.

Thanks for those pictures Matt, I'll measure mine out tonight when I get home. Like the message I sent back this morning on facebook, I had noted that it's hugely possible that all of these "universal" mounts are indeed in an "incorrect" position as well, so that should actually be interesting to find out.

Just installed the PMM tonight. I replaced the stock PMM because that went to crap and blew hydraulic fluid all over my engine bay. I'm still on stock RMM and TMM.

The install is straightforward enough. The provided instructions on Damond's website is very clearly written and is hard to get anything confused. The only thing I would suggest is to be patient and think things through (don't be like me and try to race the sun for outdoor light). One thing that bugged me was that the ground wire didn't fit through the little slot in back of the PMM. I had to get pliers and pull it through.

When I first started up the car, I immediately felt the difference. There was a deep vibration through the steering wheel. Others would probably get nervous as this point but I felt a rush. This is how my car is supposed to feel!

I haven't driven it much yet (only about 1.5mi to pick up food) and it's like a brand new car. Again, I don't have any other aftermarket motor mounts so the difference was HUGE. The rumble in starting in 1st to 2nd just feels great. That shift from 2-3 is so smooth and beautiful. I'm not sure if it's because I got used to driving with a busted stock PMM but I have fell in love with driving the car again. It just felt so junky before I installed this PMM.

Can't wait to see how it drives once the PMM settles/breaks in.

If my stock PMM goes bad, I'm most likely getting the DM PMM as a replacement. I'm also running a stage1 CPE RMM, which is stock-like in terms of NVH. Since you are still running with your stock RMM and TMM, I am very much looking forward to your updated review once it settles/breaks in.

Why wait till the PMM breaks.? The PMM fluid looks like a bitch to clean when it explodes

Might as well wait for his axles to break from the wheel hop on stock mounts. I can't believe how much more traction I have with the Damond set. The vibes aren't that bad at all for what you get in return.

Skimmed through this awesome thread, and I may be due to replace my stock PMM.

Has anyone paired the Damond PMM with CP-E 60 RMM (I have it on my car now). If so, what are your results?

Because right now there is no reason to upgrade to an aftermarket PMM. My car is a daily driver and doesn't get the kind of abuse that other racecar drivers on here put their cars through. I'll do the occasional WOT on my work commute. There are days when I don't get to go WOT at all because of traffic. I don't go out of my way to street race and don't do autoX. It might even be probable that my stock PMM won't break until I get to 100k miles simply because I don't drive it hard enough. At that point I'll be trading it in for something else. If it does break before I trade it in, I'll gladly upgrade to an aftermarket PMM. Otherwise, that money can be better spent on an upgraded intercooler for the upcoming Texas summer.

I've had the DM RMM on my car before. You're really only going get traction with the DM RMM if you have really sticky tires. I am running all season tires and my wheel hop turned to wheel spin when I had the DM RMM. I'm not about to go get a set of wheels to put extreme performance summer tires on simply because they are expensive and I don't have the space to store them. Then there's the thing where I don't drive my car hard enough to justify the expense of a dedicated set of summer tires/wheels. That said, I only had the DM RMM, which was great if you like to drive your car aggressively, but have no idea how the car will perform if you have the DM trilogy.

I just installed the PMM and TMM, (still on the jbr RMM it ain't broke yet so why swap)
Besides a bit more nvh that is already starting to subside after a couple of trips to work.
I'm much happier with wheel spin over wheel hop, Much easier to control. Also you want a great shift feel, holy crap it now almost feels like a proper direct connect shift on a rwd. Should have done this much sooner.

I was shopping a number of PMM since my stock pmm is blown (err, was blown when I bought the car and got a pre-purchase inspection). I've had the CPE Stage 2 RMM for about a year and that provided a huge improvement. The NVH has never really been an issue but it certainly did settle in the time i've had it to the point that it's pretty much like the car when I bought it.

Anyways, as I was cross shopping all the different PMM solutions, including the OE unit, I kept thinking the bearings were all positioned in the wrong direction for a transverse mounted engine. Then I came across this unit and it was exactly the direction I thought it needed to be. Reading these reviews only confirms my suspicions. Ordered it tonight.
