There is a wide range of testers with varying mods because NVH can vary quite a bit.

Hell the road and tires you are on can make a big difference in NVH.

These reviews are all somewhat subjective too. So many factors and so many different opinions on what is "too much" NVH

Agreed, and this is one of the problems with the beta test groups, they are usually coming from jbr 88 trilogies. Telling me it's a lot better than that does me no good when I want to go from stock mounts to DM threesome, or in my case having DM RMM and adding PMM then do I go insert or full threesome. Particularly when I specifically don't want racecar noise... Except I'm sure I want the shifting improvement LOL.

I did not have the JBR mounts on my car. I went from DM RMM/PMM and OEM TMM to the full threesome. As I mentioned in my review, NVH did not increase in any notable way.

Prior to the DM PMM, I had a DM RMM and CS PMM. My review and comparison on the NVH between the two are in the reviews thread for the PMM. At that point, I was still on a stock block with balance shaft.

Thanks. I may have missed it before, that does definitely give me a useful data point. And says there's no reason I shouldn't go all the way if I'm OK with the PMM/RMM.

Precisely. I expected a drastic change adding the TMM. Instead, the only drastic change was in shifting, and what an awesome change that was.

Ok so lets start this off by saying my car is my DD. i drive 25 miles every day around 60% highway 40% city. My engine is stock with the BSD and makes 500whp.

My mount setup previous to this was Cp-e Stage 2 RMM, DM PMM, and Gen Pu TMM with the CS insert. This setup was great and did well, but i still knew i had some slop being caused by the TMM. I could feel the engine shifting when i turned the car off(which no longer happens with the new TMM) as well when i would try and powershift 3-4.

After what seemed like "2 weeks" worth of waiting Farhan finally hit me up and told me the TMM's were ready to go. The install it self was very straight forward. Remove old mount, unbolt shift cables, and put new mount in. The biggest problem for me like all of the Beta testers was lining the top plate up with the bushing. Really though that wasn't even bad.

So now that everything is in i'm preparing my self for JBR 88 duro type savagery where my dash wants to jump out of the car, and my rear view mirror is shaking violently asking me wtf have i done. To my surprise when i started up the car for the first time i actually had LESS NVH than my stock TMM with the cs insert. This is on a cold start as well. So i wait for the rpms to come down and the ONLY spot where i saw my rear view shake was in the 1700-1400 rpm range. The review also shakes with the A/C, but really thats something i expected.

I have a HTP 4" with a 1000rpm idle and this thing is seriously smooth. I have no seat vibrations at all. I have some vibes that i feel transmitted through the steering wheel at idle but that's it. There is some additional vibration during take off in that 1400-1700 range on my car where i can see the rear view mirror shake. That is the only negative i've found to this mount so far. Driving around there are really 0 added vibes at least in my car from the TMM. i will update this post if that changes.

As far as clutch chatter goes i've had a ACT 6 puck since i purchase the car. So i've always had the chatter. i don't find it to be any louder with the new TMM. One thing that is a little bit louder is gear noise when decelerating but i had to be driving with the radio off to actually notice it.

As far as WOT operation goes this thing functions flawlessly. dialed up 28psi in 3rd and power shifted to 4th and no problems what so ever. Engine stayed in place and the shift engagement was noticeably smoother. I'm doing my best not to be biased in this review, but this TMM really is a good product.

TLDR; TMM is fantastic. The only place of serious vibration is 1400-1700rpm or at idle with the A/C on.

Just placed my order for the threesome. Currently mounted with CP-e, but loved all the things I heard about these. More daily driver feel, while still holding it steady like a racecar, sounds like perfection.

I switched from DM RMM to CPE s2 RMM and didn't view it as downgrading. It seemed to hold the motor just as well with less NHV. That being said, I am keeping my DM RMM in the garage because I have reservations about trusting the rubber on the CPE to last forever. Also, I have the DM PMM and plan to get the TMM before too long. Their mounts are just plain awesome.

I ordered the duo and am very impressed with the quality of the parts so far as far as looks are concerned. I just installed the tmm tonight and tomorrow I will be doing the pmm. I only had time for a 20 mile ride so I didn't get a ton of time in but my first impressions was that it was so much quieter than I expected it to be on first start up. The only difference I noticed was a little bit if transmission noise. I didn't detect any extra NVH then I had with just my cp-e stage 2 mount. This is my first aftermarket tmm and pmm so I can't give alot of comparison. I will have some updates once I get to install the pmm! Taking my good old time the tmm took about 2.5 hours so the pmm should be half that since there is not much you need to remove. Looks like I won't have to drive a big read vibrator all over.

Just ordered me one of these to replace another vendors TMM. Already switched to Damond's PMM from the same vendor and the change in NVH was significant. Hoping this one will further enhance that experience. Mods in signature.

Just a small update now that I have gotten a couple thousand miles on my DM TMM & PMM.

The car feels great. The vibrations have lessened even further.

Transmission noise has become more apparent now after breaking in the mount. I expected this. I think it is because the vibrations have lessened therefore allowing me to hear/distinguish the difference in cabin vibes vs. transmission noise.

The car in general feels amazing. Very well planted and shifts are perfect. I was having some issues finding 3rd gear when shifting hard from 2nd gear at redline, but have not found myself cursing up a storm since.

One thing I do remember when using other manufacturers mounts is that during the colder months of the year, the vibes became much more harsh most likely due to the colder ambient temperatures making the bushings harder.

It is starting to get pretty cold here in NJ. Not in the 40's yet but low 50's and I have experienced no difference in cabin comfort. That is one thing I am extremely happy about.

The cold weather vibrations & cabin shakes drove me nuts.
