The car in general feels amazing. Very well planted and shifts are perfect. I was having some issues finding 3rd gear when shifting hard from 2nd gear at redline, but have not found myself cursing up a storm since.

One thing I do remember when using other manufacturers mounts is that during the colder months of the year, the vibes became much more harsh most likely due to the colder ambient temperatures making the bushings harder.

It is starting to get pretty cold here in NJ. Not in the 40's yet but low 50's and I have experienced no difference in cabin comfort. That is one thing I am extremely happy about.

The cold weather vibrations & cabin shakes drove me nuts.
I can confirm and second this with the cold morning temps up here in Boston. Ditto to everything you said.

Installation was relatively easy. Getting the bushing carrier into the base was a pain in the ass. Removing the shift cables were also a bit of a pain. And of course I broke the tabs on the lighter colored one trying to remove it. However, once I got the base bolted to the transmission and went to line up the bushing with the chassis bracket, I was pleasantly surprised to find that it lined up perfectly with a little pump of my jack (and the bolt slid right in). The fact that I have the Damond passenger and rear mounts combined with the fact that they hold so well was likely instrumental in making this part so easy.

I was surprised when I drove the car that most of what I hear when I accelerate now is just engine noise, not transmission noise. When sitting at a light idling, you would never know the car is fully mounted. It is quite docile until you get it on the highway, then it drones like a motherfucker and the mirrors become useless (mostly the RMM IMO). But at least the constant, loud transmission whine is gone now. It's a much nicer place to live than before.

I was very disappointed that my JBR mount was toast. When I went to remove the top nut, it was loose because it was no longer engaged against the top plate. The friction between the nut and the post was the only thing keeping the transmission in my car. To see that edge of the bushing completely obliterated and gone, considering how new it is...very disappointing. I should not have disregarded the warnings I saw on here so readily.

Thanks to Farhan for making such a great product here that I know will keep everything both planted and driveable for many miles.

Now that the temp is way colder ... is it the same conclusion ... no difference in cabin comfort ?

What's the point in that? The damage is shown clearly in the video, and there's plenty of other examples of the same type of damage out there. I'm not trying to start any drama, just providing information to try to steer people away from the JBR mount (and towards the DM). There weren't any clear signs that it was failing. As I said, it was a shock to find it in this state when I removed it.

One other thing I forgot to mention about the Damond Motorsports mount is that my throwout bearing noise at idle is almost completely gone. Again it is just eerily quiet when sitting at a light with the Damond threesome, with no vibes or significant noise whatsoever (until you get moving). I continue to enjoy the reduction in gear noise as well. Overall I am very happy right now with the car. If my car was stock again, I would put this mount combination right behind a Cobb AP as my top priority mod.

edit: As an addendum to the JBR mount problem: I am being sent new 80 durometer bushings from JBR. The official explanation is that I have too much power for the 70 durometer bushings.

Yes.

I recently raced my car at Pocono Raceway and it was 38*F.

Still no difference.

Small update from me

I had a jbr pmm, tmm and rmm all highest duro (also have a bsd)

Swapped in DM tmm and pmm, and the results are absolutely amazing. The vibes are cut in half, if not more. And that was before breaking in the mounts.

They're also holding the beating I'm giving them recently. Love the mounts. I say its a must for any DD racecars, especially with a bsd.

So... I bought all three and currently have a jbr 88duro rmm installed. Are there any useful videos or testing left? A specific install order?
