I didn't read all of the requests, so I apologize if it's a duplicate... But a solid one piece rear differential mount for the speed 6 would be nice. Especially since you have already impressed us with the girth of your other parts

Any mods to improve handling would be great for either the 3 or the 6.

For the 3, perhaps you could offer a front lower tie brace, seeing as these seem to be hard to come by lately. GTSpec offers them but seem to be forever out of stock.

Said it before and I'll say it again. Please please please...

A front motor mount like the turbine tech one that doesn't cost a billion dollars.
Stainless Steel braided clutch line for the ms3.
Any type of poly bushing kit for the front and rear control arms, or maybe even an anti lift kit for the Pu since the whiteline can only work on the Gen1.

Brackets to allow the use of Mazda 5 rear brake rotors with stock calipers on a ms3. Part is available only with caliper or from junkyard. Would pay for ease of purchase.

A bracket that uses the 2 holes for the shifter weight that bends and runs over top of the shifter cable end to keep it from popping off.

Turbo brace for aftermarket turbos? I did my best to hack the factory one but I don't think it's doing much. I'm still concerned about the weight on the manifold.
Maybe a vacuum distribution block that goes in place of that black VTCS thing on top of the intake manifold?
And again, the 6 oil return line.

This is just an idea, but what about a oil filter relocation kit for those who already have spin on conversion kits. It would be awesome because I'm running two sandwich plates, one for my oil cooler and the second for my oil pressure and temp gauges. This causes the oil filter to hang low and exposed. I think this could help out all speeds :-)

Any thoughts on a brake master cylinder brace? I noticed considerable movement when bleeding my brakes and could only imagine more movement on track days.

Maybe front brake dustshields with a 2" connector for brake ducts. Now that would be track worthy.

Any rumblings on the front motor mount?

Also any chance on chassis bracing? I know they will be big pieces and stocking/shipping them will be a pain, but my car is getting old and flexy.

Yes.

Unlikely.

So what magnitude are we talking about on the Richter scale? Are we at a 6 or 7 yet?

For the 3, perhaps you could offer a front lower tie brace, seeing as these seem to be hard to come by lately. GTSpec offers them but seem to be forever out of stock.

Corksport makes one. I have it.

Their page says it is for the regular mazda3, and in the Q&A section specifically says it does not fit the mazdaspeed3 gen1.

Assuming you're talking about Mazdaspeed 3 Lower Control Arm by CorkSport ...which seems to indicate that there used to be a model for ms3.

If there were one, I'd be interested. I'm not interested in any braces and bars as replacements for stock, but definitely interested in things that add to handling performance.

You are right. That is what i was referring to. I have a gen 1 ms3 and the bar fits perfect and works just fine. The bar comes pretty close to the trans but it does not touch. I have never heard it touch even once.

I did notice a nice improvement in responsiveness and overall front-end rigidness and improved handling. Almost feels like a upgraded fsb.

Since then i have also installed a rsb and the car feels great. Havent autox with the tie bar but i bet it will be fine.

I have the tb performance traction bar. I got it crazy cheap and it does definitely help with wheel hop and traction while cornering. Quality isn't mind blowing. It would be easy to fab one up.

Any improvements for the brakes would be great. Beefy axels, gen 2 crashbar to accomodate tr10.

"Hi Matt,
Possibly! I actually thought of offering kits in the past with the OEM brackets, but they are stupid expensive, and I know I can get them machined for less.
I'll keep this in mind, as my daily is a Mazda5, so I have pretty easy reference to the brackets."

I asked Corksport about making them as well and was told they wont make them because there isn't a big enough market for it to be worth it.

I would buy some as long as it's cheaper than buying used calipers (<$100 for the set)

All good man. I have talked to Matt about it before, but you guys seem to already have it all figured out.

I did notice a nice improvement in responsiveness and overall front-end rigidness and improved handling. Almost feels like a upgraded fsb.

Since then i have also installed a rsb and the car feels great. Havent autox with the tie bar but i bet it will be fine.
Hmm. Very interested to know if it would fit up on gen2 now, and wondering why CS says it doesn't fit on gen1.

Matt's been looking into it, again. The pricing for a billet piece just plan and simple doesn't work out. I even entertained making it cast, but still doesn't work out. He's evaluating a couple other options.

More 4-5. Might kick it to 6/7 by year end.

Wouldn't you want to be first if you raced your car all the time, and designed the parts yourself?

Looking at your mod list and avatar, you may end up with a prototype...

This is in regards to a front motor mount?

How bad was bad for the billet? I don't know but would expect close to the shift plate. Though steel would be more expensive to machine.

Not even close. Need multiple pieces to get anywhere near competitive, and still not saleable.

I am not to sure. Maybe bc of how close it is to the trans. But i brought it 2nd hand of my buddy who had it on his gen 2 so it fits gen2 also. They are prob just covering there asses but i can tell you it does fit and more whatever reason it did come in contact with the trans you can elongate the holes a bet so it sits a little lower.
