| Not Ranked : 0 score I have put about 400 miles on the mount and the car is feeling great. I first installed the mount with the supplied hardware and it vibes a lot, especially during idle and take off. The vibration would be all over the cabin, through the steering and the brakes and the seats. It gradually broke in and the most of the vibrations are gone except for when it idle. I increased the idle from 700 rpm to 750 rpm resolves the issue. After reading all the report of the bolt spinning free and causing a clunk, I have decided to try the fix and see if it improves anything. After 20 cent and a 1/2" washer later, the clunk at startup and at clutch engagement is gone! Over the course of the week, I took the car out to the local canyons (Mulholland and Topanga in the Santa Monica mountains). The car drives beautifully, the motor feels more planted and the car feels more rigid overall. As a side effect of this, the exhaust note is more pronounce and it feels like I have to give it more gas to get the motor going. Overall a great product, more driving feel and performance than my previous solution (CS inserts).

| Not Ranked : 0 score I was probably one of the last ones to install my RMM and I wanted to give it a little more time then a few days before offering up my review, but I really feel the need at this point. My RMM route has been: Stock, Corksport Inserts, TRZ Dogbone, Damond RMM. Pre-Installation/Installation - (Advice #1 - Bring the bolt with you to ensure proper sizing of the extra washer). During install, the washer I purchased did not appear to fit correctly. The inside diameter looked like it may be a little too large and it did not feel/look like the nut was seated 100% correctly on it. I was able to torque down as much as I could and I was satisfied that everything was about as tight as it could be. Start-up - Instantly NVH was increased. Vibes were prevalent everywhere, especially and significantly in the normal areas where everyone else experiences them. To be honest, I actually enjoyed the racecar vibes. It reminded me of the rumble from the Foxbodies of my past. My turbo 4 felt like a beefy 8 from inside the car. Noise was probably the least change, but it was a bit louder. Due to the way I had to leave the extra washer installed, I knew I would be going to a smaller 10mm washer at my earliest opportunity. I was only going to a smaller washer because I visually did not like the way the nut/washer looked installed. I had no expectations of any changes in the NVH and I was perfectly happy with that. I really enjoyed the feel. Install of 10mm Washer - It appeared the be the nearly perfect size for the nut. It sat flush between the other washer and the nut. I torqued it down about as much as I could Start-up Again - (Advice #2 - Get the right washer the first time) HOLY FUCKING SHIT. Literally 95% of the NVH that I just had was GONE! The only vibes I really notice are on decel in the higher gears. I am shocked.....SHOCKED at the difference the right size washer made! Wow! I definitely feel more connected to some of the moving parts without any of the negative side effects. I am amazed at how little vibes there are for such a beefy mount. I would recommend this mount to anyone! Great great product! TL;DR Get the right sized washer and it will be pretty close to the perfect rear motor mount!

| Not Ranked : 0 score As others have said a washer got rid of the cluck! So far this mount is so much better than the TRZ dogbone in every way. I also think shifting is smoother now as well.

| Not Ranked : 0 score Initially, I was kind pissed about the washer not fitting. But since replacing the washer and the bushings settling down this mount has really transformed the car. Overall, very satisfied with purchase. I'm sure moving forward people will get the proper washers. Coming from the oem mount my engine felt like it was gonna fall out on start up. Now everything is crisper. Mucho gracias Damond motorsports Sent from my iPhone using sausage fingers

| Not Ranked : 0 score Alright well I just installed this and here are my initial impressions after a drive up and down La Tuna Canyon, a couple 2K launches and my commute to work. Let me start out by saving I'm probably one of the pickiest people when it comes to rear motor mounts so I've tested quite a few over the years but never really found the one (JBR Dogbone, Corksport Version 1, Corksport Version 2, CPE Stage 1, Mount inserts and now Damond RMM). I think the best way to review this is to compare it to the two mounts I remember the most and that's the JBR dogbone and the Corksport Race 70 duro. These are pretty much the 2 extremes when it comes to rear motor mounts (Hardest - Softest). Vibration This mount transfers vibes no doubt about it. It vibrates less then the JBR dogbone but a lot more than the corksport race (which doesn't vibrate at all). This mount has a certain RPM range where it vibrates the most at about 1000 - 2500 ish or during hard accelerations. This mount does not vibrate at idle for me with it set to 850 RPM. It also does not vibrate when I'm cruising in a low gear like 4th or 5th doing 45-60 mph (that's excellent!).
Noise This mount does transfer some noise. When you go WOT it's loud! Again it's less the then JBR but a lot more then the Corksport. It also all happens at a certain RPM rage from about 1000-3000 ish, during engine breaking and hard acceleration. It is quite noticeable when you first start the car but not very noisy at idle or while cruising (again excellent!).
Handling This mount holds on fucking tight. I immediately noticed a big reduction in engine movement from my Corksport mount. It's pretty close to the JBR dogbone but I would give the slight edge to the JBR for a frimer grip. I did some launching and some aggressive shifting up and down la tuna canyon and I got to say this mount is rock solid. I was able to get into gear a lot better and without much movement the entire drive. This mount makes my Corksport feel stock. Thoughts and suggestions This mount has not settled in yet so I'm not totally sure where I stand on the vibration and noise. I'm going to give it a few weeks and maybe 500+ miles of driving and let everyone know how it goes. I'm going to be honest here I'm not totally sold on the mount. Although it outperformed my corksport mount it did provide quite a bit more vibration and noise which I do not like. I like a comfortable ride and I'm pretty much always in the RPM range where this mount vibrates so it takes away from the comfort of my car. @Farhan@DM; I think a softer bushing will do this mount wonders in terms of comfort. I would love to get my hands on a 70 duro bushing to test the difference in noise and vibration. I don't mind giving up some handling if I can get less noise and vibration. I'm pretty sure by design this mount will hold on tight even with softer bushings. Any chance you can make this happen or point me towards your supplier with a part number so I can order some? I'm guessing you're using energy suspension. OH AND NO CLUNK WITH WASHER TORQUED TO 23 FT LBS!

| Not Ranked : 0 score The vibs are barely noticeable when they settle down. I'm coming from a svt focus with full poly engine mounts. The vibes at idle would constantly shake all the mirrors. The rear view all the time, could never tell if a cop was behind you. Still enjoying the rmm. The way the car feels this might be the only mount I do. Sent from my iPhone using sausage fingers

Please include the address you want it shipped to if you haven't. Thanks for all the feedback. We'll be ramping up production and keeping these in stock soon (with the right washers).

(Thread Starter) | Not Ranked : 0 score Softer bushings in this size don't currently exist. We do not currently have plans of pursuing them, as they would no longer be an OTS part. If we ever do decide to make them, you will be able to retrofit them to your mount.

| Not Ranked : 0 score Alright, wall of text time, since I said I'd give more feedback. First off, I like this mount a lot. I am coming from a Cobb mount, and to be fair, because of past issues, there has always been something in my mind that made me unhappy with it. All that said, I will be as impartial as possible. The Journey As I've said earlier in the thread, at first install, with the smaller washer that all of the first run got, vibes were much more noticeable and there was an audible clunk during heavy accel/decel modulation. The vibrations at idle, and during load where much more prevalent than in a tester car I rode in during ENM. Then Farhan added a washer, as some of you were trying to confirm the issue/resolution. Initially this greatly reduced the vibrations and the clunk was impossible to replicate in our trials. After a day or two, the vibrations increased to close to what the first install was, maybe slightly less. A few days later, I was able to replicate the clunk. Not as often, or as easily however. A few days after that Matt swapped out the original washer+additional washer for a single larger washer that is of equal thickness. Since then vibrations have been much closer to what I felt in a test car at ENM. I have been unable to create a clunk so far. It's been about 600 mi. since the last change. Vibration is still there, and more than OEM or the Cobb during decel and at around 900-1500 during acceleration. Comparison to Cobb RMM -This mount will vibrate more than the Cobb at standard idle. Simply up the idle a bit if it bothers you. -A/C vibes seems similar, I'm not sure why. The Cobb was mostly unnoticeable vibration wise at idle or under load, but with the A/C on, vibrations could be felt quite a bit more. -Engine travel feels greatly decreased with this mount vs. Cobb. -Shifting is much smoother with this mount. -Wheel hop during tire spin in low gears is also greatly reduced. -Most important, two women have been in my car since the swap. Both enjoyed, but noticed it. The one who had felt the Cobb approved of the change for what its worth. Summary I thoroughly enjoy this mount period. It performs great at what it is supposed to do, better than I would expect an equally comfortable mount to perform, with cp-e stage 2 being the exception. I would caution noobs, brownies, or guys with sensitive/pissy wives about the vibrations/noise. If you want to feel like you're riding in a luxury car(or cheap sedan as it would be) then this may be a bit much. It's not the racecar feel I've felt in some of the built fully mounted 6's around, but I feel like some early reviews were setting expectations a bit high. The fit and finish is great. Last Thought After testing, and hours of discussion about .001's of an inch with Farhan, that I wouldn't repeat here, even if most of it wasn't a bit too over my head to intelligently repeat anyway: I HIGHLY SUGGEST RUNNING ONLY THE DAMOND MOTORSPORTS SUPPLIED HARDWARE. For those of us in the first run, make sure you replace what you've tried with what is supplied. The inital fix of an extra washer worked, but not nearly as well as the correct hardware. This hardware combo was chosen for this purpose, by people who know what they're doing. Going forward, I'm sure every mount will come with the correct hardware.

| Not Ranked : 0 score OMG. I installed the new hardware last night and torque the bolt to ~20ft-lb. I drove to work today and most vibes are gone! I am surprise how the correct hardware and torque on the bolt changes how the mount feel.

| Not Ranked : 0 score I put in the new Damond Motorsports Rear Motor Mount. I've only driven about 40 miles on it, but so far I like it. I'm coming off a JBR 70 duro RMM that I've had on the car for 40k miles. There are very subtle vibes at cruising speeds, but I attribute that to being brand new. My wife didn't notice anything different about the car, which surprised me. I thought she'd have something to say about it vibrating a little bit more. There is no engine movement when shifting, which is exactly what I was hoping for. The whole thing feels more planted. I'll write up a proper review once I have more miles on the DM RMM.

(Thread Starter) | Not Ranked : 0 score Aside from the packages going over borders and ponds and a recent one to CA, everyone who's asked should have new hardware. If I've missed anyone, please PM me a reminder with your address and I'll get one out to you. Thanks, once again, for the patience and the reviews.
