Default Mock Up Wheel Spacers

So, I've got a set of 17x10 's that I'm working on fitting in the front wheel well.

After some creative exploration - (ripping apart front struts and visiting some local welding shops). I came to the realization that fitting these wheel without spacers is going to be a much larger project than I have time for right now. Bummer.

So I decided to mock up some hpde wheel spacers and find out what the wheel to strut clearance looks like.

spacers are 67.1 for the mazda center bore and 73mm for the aftermarket wheels by 17mm.

Here are the pictures!

Is that PVC? I really hope you didn't use up a bunch of PTFE for that.

After a little extra clearance-ing on the wheel studs (the only part I eyeballed) the mock up worked.

No extended wheel studs needed

The good news is that there is a little more room there than I thought. I'll make some revisions and go down to 12mm and try again.
