Default Emew's Tune MSF Edition

So I have been gradually working on a tune, in my sig you can see my MODs. I am creating this thread because today's WOT logs proved to be discouraging. Below I will attach 3 WOT logs, all on the same road and all starting at 2500 RPM throttle at the floor.

Potential Factors of bad results:
Wind factor of 18 mph
3rd gear and not 4th gear runs
Bad Tune(I'm turrible)

VD factors to apply:
Tire: 215/50/17
My weight: 160 lbs.

I'd love some insight beyond my insanely fugly AFR on what could be holding me back. Previous runs showed results of 296 HP, and over 310 trq. I would like to assume something wrong with the weather or something else but maybe you experts can see something in the logs that points to a potential mechanical problem.

Additionally my map is attached.

There are so many variables that could be in play. Has the map changed since the 296/310 run? Same stretch of road? How did the IATs and BATs compare?

You stop meeting boost targets a around 4500 so you need to tweak WGDC and dynamics a bit.

Same road, I will compare IATs and BATs, and I've debated increasing WGDC at 4500+ but wasn't sure if I would just be blowing hot air at that certain range. What's a reasonable RPM to stop increasing WGDC to meet boost targets at?

Actually today's BATs and IATs were roughly 5 degrees colder than the previous run, but I do notice boost settling down to 19 by 5k in my old log, as well as 16 by 6k. One variable I have changed is I gave the BECs tables more control. On my old WOT log(290hp) they were stock OTS values of -.02 to -.15(IIRC?). The new values are -.05 to -1.10 interpolated. I MAY(not 100% sure) have decreased WGDC in my higher range (4.5k+) by say 3-5% because of chasing boost spikes before I learned much of the BEC tables. But I guess I'm also curious about whether or not I may have given the BEC table too much control? The positive end(left side) is still the stock OTS values so it isn't adding as much WG as it's technically pulling, but also I'm unsure as to whether wind factor would be throwing me off by any degree as well..

Like Mike said, there are lots of variables that come into play here, and ultimately it's vDyno, it's far from precision, and seeing a 30 hp swing isn't unusual.

Not sure how much more power your expecting to get with those mods, but my suggestions would be to get better fuel (E85) and maybe think about a bigger intake as your g/s aren't very impressive.

As far as tuning is concerned, pure boost based is shit, and from the questions your asking it seems like you may need to read more.

I've been putting off a bigger intake until the S4 is released since I'm still on the stock k04, and I have access to e85 at a shell roughly 1 mile away from my house. I just haven't gotten into what tuning changes are to be made when e85 comes into the equation and was thinking of doing a 25/50% e85 tune this coming summer. I completely agree though, I have a lot to learn especially before I start playing with e85 or timing advance. I'll search through the tuning section some more and read up what I can. If you have any useful links you think could help further advance my knowledge in any regards I appreciate it but in the mean time I'll go back to scrounging information thread by thread. Thanks!

This is the way I learned.

Some of the best information is in random posts in the middle of threads, and often times they aren't stickies.

Another good method is to see what experts are posting. Going through posts by guys like: @ms3blackmica; @atvfreek; @rfinkle2; @Lex; can give you some incredible insight to everything.
