(Thread Starter) |   Not Ranked : 0 score  KR when letting off throttle Can anyone confirm if this is normal? I will get an average of .35 to .7 depending on how quickly i let up off of the pedal, sometimes even 1.0 and if I really let off from like 75% to 0% I've seen it go higher. On a possibly related topic, I think I may have the loose timing chain issue which I'm not sure if this would cause this or not. (This engine is stock except for SRI and TIH + AP w/ stage 1 map and MAF cal). This engine is brand new (re-manufactured) and was installed by mazda like 10k miles ago, but I do get an intermittent clicking which doesn't appear to be the pulleys. Does any one have a a video of what the loose pulley tensioner sounds like for comparison? I keep hearing a clicking at idle (not too bad) but I would like something to reference so I know if I should stock out and head to the dealer to get the chain replaced. Thanks in advance. |
