| Not Ranked : 0 score if you havent gone to a spin on type filter then a sandwich plate is out of the question. you could make a t-fitting off the stock oil pressure switch/sender. or you can use an oil galley off the head by removing the plug |

| Not Ranked : 0 score fun story i made my own adapter once for this purpose - by jacking up the car, taking the sensor out, taking it to lowes, matching the thread pattern, getting an adapter that could take both and reinstalling with both factory sensor and aftermarket one - it all worked like a champ for about a year - then one day it snapped where it goes into the cartridge housing and all the oil ran out of my motor i caught it on the gauge immediately and pulled over so after this experience i'd say - buy the spin on conversion and the sandwich plate - it's only a couple hundo - even cheaper if you shop around - and you may save hardship in the future.... i love the fifth element

| Not Ranked : 0 score ^^^ im curious to see if your getting different pressures since the sensor is located at a different height than the stock location. I mean, its a pressurized closed system and all but... wouldnt it show higher pressure if the sensor was down below as opposed to where u have it? Id post some pics but I have too much shit to do this week that I doubt Ill get under my car and take the plastic tray off just for pics (yeah i still have that fucker on there)...sorry, GL! |

| Not Ranked : 0 score If there is any drop, it is likely negligible. And even if it wasn't the gauge would still be useful as I know what pressures it runs at in pretty much any situation so I just watch for deltas to that. You are going to see different readings from sensor to sensor (and gauge to gauge) anyways. |
